Worst "I've been doing 108mph on the road" thread ever.
Wasn't on the road.

Deleted mine as it's not Dynolicious frown
Don't think it matters. Could you edit the thread title to say "Dynolicious or dyno"?

I bought this for my iPhone. Easy.
Finding a sturdy, suitable place to mount the phone, not so easy.

Anyone had much success in a Caterham or similar?
I use one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Windscreen-Mount-Holder-...

If you don't have a screen I can't see why you couldn't DIY it to attach to the dash instead.

Just wondered, is the phone sturdy enough in that holder? Does the plastic arm have much flex in it, affecting readings? I only ask because I've been thinking about getting one to use with Dynolicious.
They are quite sturdy. Although you can bend the arm to sit on the dash, depending on the rake of the screen.

The figures I've got from the Camaro and Roadster seem to tally pretty good with claimed and published stats, so I think it's accurate enough to give a ball park figure.

You do need to configure the phone before use though and have the phone at the right angle.

I'll have a look and see what the max G readings are and see whether it's something we can accomplish.. Alternatively, I have a feeling that there are G meters in the MoTeC ADL 3, so I'll see whether we can drag some G logs off that, for interests sake.. When we've actually run it that is!
That'd be pretty cool, cheers. smile
