It was the purchases of "Haynes Bodywork Manual", Big tub of filler, and subsequent relisting of a car he bought a month previous (when it had rust all over, black bumpers, and a buggered door) which amused me.

Ed China + Mike Brewer he is not.

Paint work won't exactly be high quality, I'd rather have bought it rusty.
Even from the eBay pictures, there is paint clagged on the grille, and all over the Ford badge.
Looks really ragged around the filler cap, as well.

Common sense ( lacking in many I admit) should tell you this is wrong-un. It's a V-plate so 12 years old yet only done 16k. That's only about 1300 miles a year over its entire life. Even my mom who must be the lowest mileage driver I know still does about 3k a year.
This is fair comment, and was my initial reason for refusing to come along to view it. If it smells dodgy, walk away.
It was the eBay audit trail which amused me biggrin

It is a 5digit odometer.
He hasn't clocked the car, he's trying to "play down" the mileage.
I am wondering if it's a fairly young guy who's a bit naive about what's OK, and what's not.

If he'd marketed it honestly, he'd stand more chance of selling it. It reeks of dodgy, now.
