Update regarding the second batch of 991.2 GT3 RS with particulate filter (EU):

1. First cars are planned for a July delivery... (September seems to be more likely though)

2. 520 hp planned(!), certification isn't finished yet, huge issues with the particulate filter (4-way catalytic converter had to be abandoned, doesn't seem to work as planned).

3. Exhaust sound may more impacted than initially anticipated, due to the abandonment of the 4-way catalytic converter) but Porsche is doing everything to deliver something "satisfactory".

4. Certification is still going on.

I think a painted bonnet -v- Carbon is going to be a contentious issue on here , I'd go for Carbon myself with GTSM

Congrats to another successful purchaser but I do agree what’s the point of WP if you paint the bonnet!

Thanks! There must be more folk out there with an allocation but maybe my guy is just more organised or everyone else keeping quiet or has a life outside the internet (?!).

Part of me thinks that unlike a couple years ago, many speculators aren't interested or don't have £ lying around, but still the finance offer I've got has a ridiculously high balloon so the market can't be quite as bad as it seems.

Can't bring myself to paint the carbon bonnet, defeats the point of the WP appearance, eventhough I think the black bonnet WP on LG looks a bit OTT.

If you do go carbon bonnet I reckon PPF will be a must have. Maybe I am wrong but I would think if you get stone chips in that its going to be a nightmare to get it sorted.

Some nice aluminium chequer plate should warn the stones off !!!
