Have a LHD Touring, much prefer it to RHD, great for EU jaunts and you get a 90 litre tank.

Interiors like this are of a owner with zero fks, and has had trouble getting in and out, maybe overweight then.

"Hi fellow PH'ers. A sad day today. In 1998 at the age of 45 I got hit by an uninsured, under-age driver whilst riding my motorcycle, the accident shattered my pelvis and broke my neck, I was in IC for 6 weeks, and ended up being in hospital for 17 weeks in total.I'd ridden motorcycles since I was 17, but that accident meant I was no longer capable of doing so.
I turned to cars as a replacement, and Porsche specifically caught my eye !
In 1999 I bought my first Porsche, a 996 GT3 in Basalt black. I've gone on to own every iteration of GT3 since, always ordered in black. And even though driving a manual is challenging for me, I was grateful Porsche continued producing manual gearbox cars whilst all their competitors seemed to have gone to flappy paddle transmissions.
Regrettably with the advent of the Gen 991 GT3, I was forced to accept the march of progress, and I found myself having to accept a PDK gearbox.
In some way the PDK made life easier, but I preferred the challenge of the manual despite the lack of mobility and strength in my left leg, as despite 18 months of physio after the accident, it's still not really strong enough to bear my weight, so I have to use a stick (or on the odd occasion when things are really bad, crutches).
Can you imagine how overjoyed I was when Porsche announced the Gen 2 991 would be available with a manual gearbox again though !!
Despite the dealer principle of my local OPC having left after 15 years in the job, the salesman there ensured I got a car, and boy has it been special.
Alas, at the age of 68, my left leg is now unequal to the task of driving the GT3, so after 6,000 fantastic miles behind the wheel, I felt I had no choice but to sell the car.
I'm not sure whether to call it a day, or find another car with a PDK transmission, but I have to admit I no longer find driving these cars as pleasurable as in days gone by, too many speed cameras, and sports car drivers increasingly seem to be frowned at/upon by many. So I think my GT3 days are now over
I hope whoever buys the car enjoys it, they are truly wonderful machines. Apologies for the scuff marks on the sill plate and door entry strip, as I said my left leg is badly lacking in strength, and getting into the car along with my crutches, is a young man's game !! And yes, I'm afraid those faithful crutches have inflicted some slight scratches to the door trim too.
Regards Malcolm"
"Wayhayeee, Rik wk from Insta here, fkin loved me GTfree, but it wasn't fast enough for me, knowhatimeen, anywaze me dad chopped it in wiv the gud guys at Brordoak (not B4 me and me matz took it for final spin down at the old mans gravel quarry tho) and hes bought me a 992 Turbo S insted.
I's gonna be wrapping it in rose ckrome, slamming it on bags and it ll be rollin on 22's, i's goona be addin lots of other st to keep you guys on me YouToob channel and Insta intertained. So Wotch this spaze"
For all I know Julian, the car may have been owned by "Rik", but for all you know it could have been owned by "Malcolm".
Sometimes it's best not to judge others nor indeed how they treat their personal possessions before you know all the facts, as to do so is "a bit off".

You are quite right and to be frank, there are some stuck up buggers on here. Anyone who drives their car can plainly see it is just cosmetic marks
that do happen and are quite easily be removed.
£120 on a quick detail with a slick topcoat would have made all the difference for the pics ,at 6.7k miles the engine is still tight and at today's prices looks cheap albeit LHD.

Julian, bless him, does get a bit carried away, and has previous with comments such as those he made on a Carrera GT on CC that he said wouldn't meet it's reserve because "something about it was bit off".
It did make reserve ... and those on here who know the cars well, said there was nothing "off" about it whatsoever.
Prior to that, the condition of a stunning low mileage Singer on CC was called into question by him for having similar marks to the door panels, kick plates and sill , yet despite this "abuse" by its "uncaring" owner", it fetched in excess of £600,000 iirc ...

nice story BUT makes no odds to the buyer these nice stories ! , a grotty car is a grotty car to the new buyer. Sales people think they can sell anything these days and not have to prep or spend 3p on it.I'd ridden motorcycles since I was 17, but that accident meant I was no longer capable of doing so.

I have no idea what you are trying to get at sorry with daft gifs, are you 12 ?.1st impressions always count when you are buying these sorts of cars at overs.
that cars looks a F****ing mess to me, I would not go and even look at it myself.
I always think if they cannot do a simple clean up then they won't be fitting new tyres or preping a car to the standards of the top tier resellers like Romans or Top555.
Goto these show rooms and the cars are like new, they spend the money on the prep and make sure the cars look amazing.

Sorry, I've neither the time or inclination to respond at length to your keyboard "rants". I appreciate you're new around these parts, so I'd suggest you do a search for what the whoosh parrot gif represents on PH and then work it out for yourself, because currently, you're the only one on this thread who's behaving like a 12 year old.
If you you're unable to grasp why I used that specific gif, you may want to reconsider your recent decision to post on a forum such as PH ...
