How would you spec your 992 GTS?

That looks sensational, and is making me want to switch my Boxster 4.0 spec to Python Green. OliOC said:
From what I can see, to get the contrast stitching costs an additional £2189.00 as you need Interior Trim Package with decorative stitching in contrasting colour. This, on top of the Race-Tex interior package with extensive items in leather at £2811.00, makes it more expensive than the GTS Interior Package...
Admittedly I’m not a massive fan of the accent dials, but it doesn’t seem to make sense to spec these two above the GTS pack, given the resale consideration?
Tell me if I’m missing something! I want the full Race-Tex interior, so have currently spec’ed Race-Tex interior package with extensive items in leather, but the only other thing I’d like is the contrast stitching. I could just do without the crayon seat belts and dials. The carbon is a no brainer, but I’d prefer to spend £506.00 as opposed to £2,231.00!
speccing those two comes to £5000, adding the carbon takes it to £5500, speccing the GTS interior package is over £5200, so not much difference.Admittedly I’m not a massive fan of the accent dials, but it doesn’t seem to make sense to spec these two above the GTS pack, given the resale consideration?

Its the only option if you want the alcantara and contrast stitching but in a colour other than red or crayon. I want yellow to match the paint.
As far as resale goes, it won't matter as the interior is still the same as the GTS interior, the carbon, the alcantara, its just the stitching that is different. people want the high end interior of those features, more than just ticking the one box. I also dont spec my cars for resale, I spec them for me to enjoy for 3-4 years.

Did they say how long? I am expecting the same was due to complete Mid October.
From what my dealer told me weeks ago, you won't be seeing a GTS this year.Q1 next year at the earliest.

Reading, Silverstone, West London, Hatfield.
I've ordered from Silverstone, all giving the same message though.
The PEC isnt even due to have one, no dealers are getting a demo either.
Thanks, a pretty consistent message then from them all. Shocked about dealers not getting any demos and PEC not getting one either. At least that means they’ll be prioritising customer orders. I've ordered from Silverstone, all giving the same message though.

I think a few are managing exceptions in case of delays. Whist I am expecting my Targa GTS to be delayed, its still showing as completing build 22nd of next month same day as another mates Black Targa supplied via West London. Just put phone down on PEC, they say expecting their GTS Nov.I've ordered from Silverstone, all giving the same message though.

Must admit, now that a few video's have started appearing online of the GTS, I'm contemplating switching to Python Green as think it looks fantastic.

Having had a few Boxsters and having looked again at Astons I finally took the plunge last week and put a deposit on a GTS Cab due to arrive in q2 next year. My first 911 and far more than I have spent before but I'm very excited by the prospect of it.
I had been looking at an S Cab but was persuaded that the GTS was the way to go.
In terms of spec my first issue is that after a number of years of black wheels I am well and truly sick of them and really do not want them on this car. I know that this loses the centre locks but it is a big issues for me. I have decided to go for a "clean" look and I suspect an unusual look for a GTS but the GTS interior etc do nothing for me.

Thoughts, comments and advice all very welcome, especially as a 911 newcomer.

Each to thier own, and take my comments as nothing more than my own opinion, however I don't see the point of a GTS if it doesn't have centre locks or the alcantara/racetec interior.I had been looking at an S Cab but was persuaded that the GTS was the way to go.

I've got one on order, I spend hours on the config but still I can't decide between the spyder's or centre locks.

I just really like the spyder wheel design
Mine isn't due to Mar/Apr so I have a while to finalise the spec
