I am the same, ordered beginning of May 21 and allocation in March 22, so ten months to get the allocation. If I get the car in mid September that will have been 16 months in total.
Pivo - fingers crossed for you that yours will be a similar time frame. Things could be moving quicker in 2023 also..,
Very interesting, @MK911 , lead-times are definitely drifting to the right…

I visited OPS in Reading over the weekend and I was told that if I placed new order today, it should be delivered in 24 months. I suspect things are gonna get worse before they get better.

Hmm, has your OPC mentioned a PCGB email to OPCs of last week (I think) informing them of some "delays" or "severe delays" to 911 and 718 production..? Be keen to hear of others' experience.

My Touring was due to land at the dealer next Thursday, got a heads-up on Friday that it won't. No new date for arrival in the offing. "In production" seems to not be a guarantee that it's "being produced".

FWIW, similarly my App showed the Touring still at stage 3 long after I know it had entered prod, but earlier in the year another of my orders did show as/when you'd expect on the App as in stage 4, or whatever it is.
All I’ve had is …confirmation mine is in transit!!! (oh and production line pics in the app 😊 ). Should have it in the next 10 days or so allowing few days for prep, ceramic etc

where do you find the production pics in the app please, my car is produced and appearing in the app, but all I see is the silhouette of the car and no remote access, access to vehicle information limited underneath. Then an option to activate Porsche connect services?

In the app you need to press #4 of the #5 steps. The progress bar should be red under the number. Then you should get a pitcure of your car at the top with a title “an exclusive preview of your vehicle”. Click on that picture and then it should bring up the 4 build stage photos of your car

I dont have any build stages or a progress bar.

Looking at the app and the website, I have the car in there, but its a generic pic of a GTS, and have all the chassis number, spec etc, and the ability to connect to the connect services, but I dont see any steps at all?

I already have my old Porsche in there too that I just sold, it appears alongside the new one.

But there are no steps to see any progress, the dealer was only able to send me the invite to add it to myporsche once the car had been built.

I can see me missing out on the photos during build, as they definitely arent in there.

That would be a shame. Does your app not look a bit like this. To the left your new GTS with the generic photo, chassis, pcm, etc.. Swipe right on the car for your old 911 where you have the same chassis info, pcm, etc. And then right again the progress on your new GTS.

Looks like there is some latency in uploading your pics.
You are looking in the right place(s).

My old Porsche stayed on my profile until it was sold to the next customer. That is my personal observation, as I visited my OPC to get a new car and I saw my old iron-horse grazing on the concrete and disappeared from my profile when it was sold.

I would think 18-24 months for base C2

thanks for the screenshot, no I only have the two blips, new and old, but no build schedule or stages frown

Pretty sure my salesperson doesnt know what to do, I keep asking and he doesnt really give me an idea that hes done it before. I think he thought I was talking about the invite for the new car in the app, which he couldn't do until it was built, which it is now, but ive never seen the stages frown

It can take a few weeks after the car is built to show up in the app. Don’t give up, there will be photos at the factory. The dealership just need to work/push a little harder!
