You need some more long runs to get a proper average mph wink
For comparison, mine has an average of around 45mph over a similar period of time.

Lovely looking thing, btw. The colour really suits the car!

ETA
Only just seen the total mileage of the car yikes
What is the story behind why it wasn't driven more often?

Thanks I’d love to see some more colourful 997s on here!
My cobalt blue 997 has been in Jersey since new in 2008 and it’s hard to go fast here. As you can see from the trip computer the car has been used for the school run so lots of traffic- fun with the manual gearbox!
Keen to hear if people think the low mileage makes it more desirable/valuable? I absolutely love the car!

Nice it looks like cobalt was gen 1 and Aqua was gen 2 but seems to be a pretty identical colour

What did you replace it with?

I tend to buy / swap a lot of cars around, some stay a long time, some last a year then I sell on to someone who will use them more than me, even if I like them.

997 went for an ‘R’

Another great Porsche smokin

So many cars...so little time biggrin

1st two 997.1s were cobalt. Great colour I wish I had on the current 997.2. Think Aqua is a lot brighter than cobalt

Always amazes me how small the 997 is when I look at who I parked next to

Just spotted this on EBay. Has to be a bargain. At that price you could get it taken direct to Hartech.

If you want a black 997.1 3.6 with a Tiptronic gearbox.

At £10.8k for the car and £7-10k for a Hartech rebuild that's not much from the cost of a working car and you have the hastle factor.

Yes a new engine would give some peace of mind, but what else is wrong with it?

It’s funny. 997 was the start (almost), middle and seems like the end of my Porsche relationships. I’m 5x 997s in and have no desire to go elsewhere. Size, feel, modern enough. I’m done! biggrin

I don’t know what else is wrong with it... not been to view! Don’t shoot the messenger. shoot

I have a 3.6 Tip.. & it is fantastic. Had it 6 years now. Love it! So maybe I’m being a bit biased.
Don’t get me wrong. I would love a 997 Turbo or GT3. but the vast majority of people do not have that sort of money. Just pointing out a cheap 997 on the market. Too good to be true really if the car is ok. Some 996’s are being sold for over £20K. scratchchin Also it doesn’t say it needs a rebuild, I’m just saying at that price you could have it done.
