Dunno really not the best colour for sure on a GT3 looks washed out imo but as ever each to their own.
Reminds me too much of the unpopular Rhodium Silver and a very expensive option for such a similar colour being pts.
My Spyder was Rhodium. Looks good in the flesh.Reminds me too much of the unpopular Rhodium Silver and a very expensive option for such a similar colour being pts.
Looks good always helped by the black roof.
I've got an official Porsche issue of the 992 GT3 PTS colours as an attachment on an email, but due to my limited PC skills I have not been able to get them transferred on to this site. But if someone posts their email details I will forward them the information so that they can attempt to post them
I've been lucky enough to get an allocation and now I'm thrashing around thinking whether to go manual or PDK.
It'll be my first GT car, have had a couple of Turbo's and currently have a 992 Turbo S which I love. My usage is mainly going to be road with the occasional track outing. Before I got the allocation I was thinking of buying a manual 991 as a 2nd car to get a bit more engagement.

That is a strange one Pal.
Just gone and measured mine which are 4 mill on rears and 5 mill on the fronts, measured every groove and all the same.Ive ran Cups on my last 3 BMs and they start off at 5.7 mill new, I think the Cups on the P car start at 6 mill new.You would always get 2 for 1 on RWD so 2 changes on rear to one set of fronts and my GT3 looks like its going to be the same .
Looks like you have a prob with your fronts out of tracking or something, you shouldn't have any wear on the inside shoulders which suggests that something is not right.
My tyres were brand new and have put 6.5k miles on them so far, I couldn't get 4k miles out of any set of rears on my BMs so it shows you how good the traction is on the GT3, its not a DD and only used when I am off to blow a way the cobwebs and is driven hard .
Have never felt any understeer and think you would have to drive it on the edge to feel any on the road, RWS has killed understeer in these modern GT3 cars.
I would just get a basic tracking done too see if anything is out .
Car looks terrific by the way.
Thanks ... I think it's all down to how a car is driven and I'm very happy with the gentle use that this suggests.Just gone and measured mine which are 4 mill on rears and 5 mill on the fronts, measured every groove and all the same.Ive ran Cups on my last 3 BMs and they start off at 5.7 mill new, I think the Cups on the P car start at 6 mill new.You would always get 2 for 1 on RWD so 2 changes on rear to one set of fronts and my GT3 looks like its going to be the same .

My GT4 which does a lot of track miles wears out at least two sets of front to a set of rear tyres ... and I'm running around -2.5 degrees all round ... with GT4 Clubsport suspension.
