That's actually a nice colour, but looks wrong with the matching wheels, and 'Halfords' stripe.

Someone should go 'Oak Green' as looks stunning (or 'Brewster Green')

I'm considering a 4GTS Targa, as was declined a GT3 slot (unsurprisingly), and Oak or Brewster Green is definitely my option at the moment.

And there are also Forest, Jet and Irish Green

And all the light and bright colour greens too!

For a colour which has such long term connections with Porsche and offered in at least ten different shades through PTS you'd think they could offer at least one shade as a colour available to all!

I have chosen Racing yellow for my september build GT3 however i'm chuffed to bits with the GT silver on my new 991.2GTS coupe as its classy and much less 'in your face' than my recent Guards red GT4. Mine is not locked in yet and depending on my mood at the time of lockdown i might still revert to my original favourite colour which was GT silver...Any thoughts on suitability of yellow vs GT silver on the new GT3..?

If I was in the market for a GT3 then I'd choose GT Silver over Yellow.

I think it's a classic choice for the GT cars and I like the subtlety. Yellow is nice, but makes more of a statement.

Hello everyone, this is my first post on here. I am lucky enough to have a confirmed September build for October delivery. I would like a factory collection and was wondering if anyone has experience of this? Been quoted £2000 which seems expensive as I'm doing a job for them!

More or less decided on Guards red with full buckets, leather and manual. Was thinking about white but dealer says too many white GT3s around. They even had 2 in yesterday.

Looks like GT Silver will be the 'new white' in terms of most popular colour choice new....hardly surprising as it is good value standard metallic extra cost compared to the gen 1. Great colour choice.

Yellow and white could well be the least favourite standard colour choices new. Imo GT3s always look good in white (especially with red stitching), and together with the likely rarity of gen 2s in this colour, it could well be a wise choice. Free too.

Go with the colour you want! It's a car you should buy to enjoy yourself.

I personally don't like white but clearly I am in the minority in the UK as it's by far the most popular car colour.

There are others pec options which can impact on resale more than the colour will.

I was looking at doing factory collection this time, but have been advised that there's work going on at Stuttgart and all factory collections will be from Leipzig, which has no appeal to me.

I am still waiting to hear back from my dealer but they saying most likely tail end of the year. They say I have a decent chance as I have bought a Macan S and a 991 GT3 gen 1 recently, but who knows. If I don't get any word by November might change over from the Gen 1 GT3 and get something more useable as a daily but not sure what which is just as exciting.

I think it will be September for Q1 2018 allocations/build slots. Can't really be much later than that given lock down periods etc
