Like the bats (and swallows) in the barn. Not quite so keen on the mice in the roof space.
In the roof space I think you'll just have to use a pest controller.

I love mine which I paid £60k for in Feb before Hexagon started their games...£70k plus is the wrong price relative to other cars out there. Not just 997 GT3's, Boxster Spyder's and GT4's have both softened in price whilst GTS's have gone up.
That said I don't think trade bids are even at £60k judging by that car on the PCGB Forum month or so ago where he was being bid £56k.

Agree 100% and my ideal spec was an Aero kit car but when I looked at two cars for sale in 1 day I preferred the non-aero kit car which is why I bought one without. I have fitted the front Aero kit splitter which gives the car a more aggressive look but have no desire for the rear Aero spoiler. Now a Sport Classic ducktail on the other hand.... c4sman said:

Personally I don't like it although quite like the duck tail that you can get on the 991. Porsche won't sell you the Sport Classic duck tail for the 997 but RPM will. Think that GTS is "trying too hard" personally with the decals and center stripe but you get the idea.

I'm biased, but I would be as mine has the aero fitted, but it also has the lowered Porsche sports suspension etc as well, which suits the overall look of the car. I feel the the standard suspension ride height with the aero looks a bit awkward/high, but without it, works & looks fine. I wouldn't have bought mine without the combination of both...👍
Great cars though, love mine & that's coming from a GT3...

It's the rear spoiler that pushes it too far but that front lip on Chris's car looks damned fine it has to be said. Think it might go on a future bonus list. Not accross the line on the ducktail though, I don't want it to look like I really want a sport classic (which I do but would never pay the going rate for one even if I could). Ducktail gives me the same problem as the rear spoiler in looking like it's trying to be something it isn't. I'm saying that I totally understand that if you bought a car with it and sport suspension, it's still a great looking car and these are definitely first world dilemmas
I think 911s can go down four routes. Two I quite like, one I don't and one depends.
1/ Super standard clean and classic, maybe heavy engine mods you cannot see - I like
2/ tastefully modded and personalised. Usually using factory style inspired mods from other 911s. (Aero kit fits into this category), maybe heavy engine mods you cannot see - I like
3/ heavily modified clearly aftermarket big buck mods without engine performance to match - I don't like
4/ heavily modified clearly aftermarket purely in pursuit of more performance backed up with heavy engine mods - I usually like, and usually make me smile. Also usually starts with a stock turbo or GT2 otherwise why bother!

Chris, you are a bad influence... The Sharkwerks has been a great upgrade, and I just had the Sport button retrofitted last week. The spec I wanted - which took ages to find - was silver, manual, centre locks, no aero-kit, no sunroof, no rear wiper and the leather dash. But I think my car looks too high from the front. I know your car is lowered, but do you have any more photos from the front view? Is this an expensive upgrade?
I've been considering selling my car, i've been in contact with a few dealers one of which suggest a retail price of mid 70's. flattering but at the same time I can't beleive it! Values have certainly increased!
Problem is, even if I do decide to sell, what do you replace it with without having to part with an additional £30k+ ??

I find it interesting when traders bid more on vehicles if they are covered by a reputable warranty which they think will help them with resale... 90% of the time the warranty small-print says something along the lines of "this warranty is only transferable if the car is sold privately and is voided should the car be passed into trade"He is just about to sell (not PX) to trade - been bid £56k
I'm sure its rare for the warranty admin teams to enquire how the car was sold but, strictly speaking, they could refuse a claim if they found out the car passed through a trader between owners!

I imagine the dealer could act as a broker though, and the warranty pass from one owner to the next. I haven't been involved with such a transaction.
