strap drive AP's
I had to google this! What’s the advantage - that the disk is effectively completely separated from the bell and thus they can dissipate heat faster?

I had AP and RS29s on my DC2 ITR track car - they were unbelievable! I’d love a set on my 996T….

My browser won't allow me to open this ... but I'll post a picture of a front disc after three sets of pads ...

The wear line is visible but cannot be felt, the discs had a slight texture which is polishing, and the discs have yet to be skimmed (up to five times ?)

This looks like a great car (if it hasn't sold) - is the fact it has the PCCB brakes on it a potential sticking point for prospective buyers given the cost and the mileage of the car?

They're not PCCBs. A previous owner has had the calipers painted yellow...

Yep.

There's a base Boxster knocking about near where I live that has the same "modification". It takes all sorts though I guess!

Ooops I've just asked Ken to paint my callipers black whilst he's refreshing chassis. Then changed my mind to gold. He's just got them back i hear! Nervous as the wheels didn't really work out. I prefer silver which I will change back to next refurb. When I stick GT2 aero on her I've decided to stay black. I'm worried they'll send me back a car that doesn't work perfectly like it does know if I allow someone to strip and then put it back together. I'd allow OPC Reading to do a colour change but they weren't happy about the colour change. Also thinking about being a tart now I intend to use for road only and getting ceramics hehe
