What kind of major changes would you expect then?
I'm not smart enough to think of anything but i'm pretty confident Porsche's top engineers are more than capable..My money is still on ITBs but its a guess TBH..Maybe a return to indirect injection which doesn't produce particulates in the first place..;)

I know it is batch 2 and this would be a major change. But so is GPF. So I also have the same hope still that ITB could be in the second batch. Also on Rennlist someone posted AP’s comment that the sound of the Speedster is a bit more civilised which suits such car. So perhaps they tried to keep the RS... an RS... and they worked even more on the sound?Maybe a return to indirect injection which doesn't produce particulates in the first place..;)

From the text below there is clearly the option to turn the wick up to compensate for any GPF restrictions, ITB's or remap - only time will tell
But the GT3 RS has benefited from the delay and shares so much of the suspension, material and aerodynamic enhancements of its sister, it would only be a mild generalisation to call it a normally aspirated GT2 RS. It also has a little more power than the GT3, whose 4-litre powertrain it shares: thanks to better breathing it’s homologated 20bhp higher at 513bhp, though in truth Porsche says its real, representative output is at least 523bhp.

Batch 2 has GPF and weighs 20% less than batch 1 exhaust.
There is your answer.
20% less overall or the exhaust is 20% lighter plus the weight of the filters? Porsche have pulled it out of the bag if it’s 20% lighter overall. There is your answer.
