Indeed they just don't have the actual build slots confirmed...they don't get those for any car until a few months before. They know with a high level of certainty how many cars they're getting just not the build dates.

Mine is coming mid-October. I've gone Manual/Guards/Buckets/Steel/Silver wheels/CS plus some carbon bits and a few other additions.

Can't wait, having sat in a car at Goodwood and heard the PDK run up the hill, I think the car is going to be epic.

My manual is build start 22nd Sept and lands in the U.K. on 14th Oct so looks like yours is probably the first into the UK. Congrats!

Great, I have time!

So re exterior, what's going to look best:

White with platinum wheels and pccb's
White with satin black wheels and pccb's
GT silver with satin black wheels and pccb's
Black with platinum wheels and pccb's.

I'm not keen on normal silver wheels or satin aluminium. I'm also going LED lights in black. Current spec is the top one but not 100%.

My car locked 30th June for 22nd Sept Delivery . So don't play roulette . ( approx 12 weeks ) Also making last minute changes had a habit of pushing back date .

Mine started as 29th August but pushed back into Sept when I had a last minute change folding to 918 buckets . The silver lining was that then put me in the manual build window and managed to get it changed .

My spec locked date is 20th July, so 2 months ahead of build commencing. The official dates I have for everything, which will give you a feel for duration between stages, are;

Spec locked 20/07/2017
Build start 22/09/2017
Build finish 29/09/2017
Leave Germany 13/10/2017
Arrive UK 14/10/2017
Arrive Dealer. 20/20/2017
