"embossed Porsche logo" rolleyes sure, embossed ...
And then the dealer goes on and highlights this with an extra photograph ....

Then he goes on and writes "CARBON INTERIOR!!!!!" into the ad when it is clearly badly wrapped rolleyes
Also Bose (sorry, I meant BOSE!!!!!!) and "telephone module for PCM" but has after market head unit and subwoofer rolleyes
Pretty sure the "Bose" is a sticker/fake too. The logo is normally at the top of the speaker grille, not down at the bottom near the door bin:

Good luck with the search OP. CF

If he had written hands free head scratcher then that would have been genius.

the "bought blind" 911!. It looks worth every penny
Thank you kindly, went out last night with a friend who has a 981 Cayman GTS with PSE and makes mine sound like a Hybrid despite being a 3.6 v his 3.4 which is probably stuffed with OPF filters!

Looking at my options now…..

It would be interesting to know, whether the new buyer keeps it as it is, or if it is the basis for a new build, either a track/race car build, or an individual / retro build à la CSR or like others have done.

It might very well be a good basis for such a project, but way too much work for my ocd to put right. But as ATM said, someone might be happy to drive it like this.

Based on looks alone I am going to guess that whoever bought it thought it was "well nice, innit" and is more after the badge than the car.

Likely impossible to know, I suppose.

My 7.1RS has just passed its 14th birthday ( bought new). Still a lot of fun - obviously not as quick as more recent cars, but has a go-kart like feel to it that I enjoy. Permanent resident in my garage.

Lovely morning today for a drive and some pics...

The 992 will never live up to this generation of 911 (and the 991) - stunning car! Bet every drive feels like an event.
