If you don’t mind foregoing the wing and cage, there are circa 7 (RHD) tourings with buckets and ceramics.....maybe they are not so rare after all ;-)

No lol at the naysayers who say they would buy one, but we all know they won't at any price, now people are missing out

An old thread but as the OP said there's 138 GT cars for sale which he saw as some sort of impending disaster.

Well, we are apparently in the worst car market now for a long time and have also had another batch of RS delivered which people say has caused a lot of GT3.2 product to go back into the marketplace.

However with all that said there are only 104 GT cars for sale today and a great number of those are POA examples so probably less than 100 in truth, a significant improvement from what was probably perceived as a better market when the original post appeared with those 138 cars

It appears to show the resounding faith and passion people still have in these cars that there are not really that many for sale and Porsche do have GT volumes under control

I heard from a dealer recently that 2018 was the 'worst in 35 years of business'. However, things have settled somewhat and 2020 has got off to a reasonable start.

Maybe Brexit really was having an effect and now most of the uncertainty is behind us things will start to pick up again. Certainly don't see the collapse in GT prices some on here were forecasting.

Although they use the word bad the market has still been kicking around the 2.3 million number for the last few years, some forget the time when 2 million was a milestone!!!

Yes spring on the way and Brexit Brexited so hopefully onwards and upwards.

Bank stocks are still st though

Agree.

And quality Indies such as Redline and Romans have never been busier desperately seeking stock to buy.

Go back to former good or bad years there was only a handful of GT products for sale and they were still list or under, it's not the market affecting price it's the volume.
How many GT products came to the UK in 2003 to 2011 and how many GT products came to the UK 2013 to 2019? Personally I see prices still falling as there won't be enough buyers for the volume of cars! Simple economics of demand and supply

whats more showing in the RS 4.0 25% cars made for the UK are for sale.

but you cannot buy a bucket seated 997.1 any where !

asset products are droping like a stone be that the 4.0 RS or a Rolex watch, investers can make much much more on the markets now.
hence we will not see the 718 GT products being sold or any 991.2 RS products at todays levels !!

spring will make lower priced cars for car nuts but that's not the high end price cars.

I have made 27% in 4 weeks !!! been a bit lucky but you need that in shares a bit anyway.

...And only one 997.1 GT3 (with the better seats biggrin ) for sale on PH.

A few months went by where there were no non-RS 7.1's for sale at all.

Okay, no PCCB, but if you're after a 997 with bucket seats, the gap between 997.1 GT3 and 997.2 GT3 RS narrows as the price of both reduces..

Bearing in mind only 2 rhd 4.0s seem to be up for sale on PH classifieds, where do you see the remaining rhd cars to make up '25% cars made for the UK on sale'....?

Because if by your calculation that 2 rhd cars is 25% of UK cars, your self proclaimed 27% profit in being a stock picking god might start to look suspect...

Really nice car that..In years to come the 997.2 GT3 RS values will be higher than any 991 or 992 versions IMO.
