Its beautiful a rolling showcase of what Porsche can do. I never felt DFI engine special enoug but not tried a powerkitted one in manual form which is what SC has. The engine lacks character in 385bhp form as basically no engine noise. Very quiet and ours was a cab with PSE. so we should have had more sound. Prettiest 997.

I've removed carpet & sound deadening from the engine compartment. Makes a big difference to the sound from the drivers seat.Kettmark said:

A friend just did that in his GTS and is raving about the results. He also said that the engine noise is now far more noticeable with the reduction in tire noise.Auction - currently £23,100

Beautiful, a part of me still wishes I got white. Do you have mud guards on the front of the lower sills? (the black bit that looks odd)
I imagine it's stone-chip protection. As you probably know, in a questionable move to save weight there was no stone chip protection on gen1 997 GT3's, which leaves the sills extremely vulnerable to being stripped of paint - especially at that leading edge inside the front arch. I had mine taken back to bare metal and had stone chip protection added along that edge and underneath, as it used to drive me mad. The sill just in front of the rear arch also takes a pounding, and needs ppf for peace of mind in my view.GoreyC said:

Those Auctions on Ebay straight from BCA always seem so dodgy, There is also a lot of 911 scams on Ebay atmshantybeater said:

Thanks! I’m not usually a fan of white cars, but I think it works well and brings a motorsport vibe to a GT3.Not mudguards - just a small section of stick on carbon look film, which I assume has been fitted to offer some stone chip protection to that area. Doesn’t really look that odd in the metal I don’t think.

I saw that one and I am tempted, not many come up sub 20k anymore, and that chocolate interior is pretty rare. Would probably look good for my project. Wonders who's it was? Not that I am likely to know who they are.150,000 miles

Driver seat is a bit worn, but still acceptable, certainly for the mileage/price.
The "well known lady actress" driver seems to be a fan of Kate Moss

Is the car GT Silver or just Artic - I cant decide.
Good call! You are right, this might indeed be GT silver! Would make the car all the more special. This picture is from a Rennlist member, taken from this thread on rennlist.
