Surely colour also affects the in-your-face factor ...

Green / Red / Yellow / Blue / While / Silver / Crayon ?

Maybe not in that order ??

In the in-your-face stakes .... how does a colourful Touring compare to a neutral be-winged GT3 ?

From an engineering perspective I can only say that the 991.2 carbon wing is a work of art .... and have you seen the price for a replacement ?

Agree, a bright yellow Touring such as Chris Harris' is hardly discrete.

A dread to think the cost of a replacement carbon wing...

Mr Peeler: saw you post on rennlist about possible delays to GT3 production. If it makes you feel any better, mine has moved forwards 2 weeks currently! Fingers crossed.
Yes I’m very hopeful now mate I’ve been told by a good source that 1st batch cars will be unaffected so roll on next month woohoo

Hi Peeler and GTSJoe. Can you tell me when your order locked? My order locked 30.04.21 and I was trying to get a better understanding of how long after lock before it went into production. Im expecting a June build and I suspect its similar production date as yours (however mine has to get to a port and go on a ship to the other side of the world so the Porsche system currently show's early Sept delivery...)

Thanks guys. Looks like it goes into production roughly four weeks after it locks and arrives at your OPC roughly four weeks after that.

So Im guessing mine will be manufactured first week of June. If mine were a UK order I could expect it first week of July at OPC.

Roughly speaking the time on water is around 45 days for NZ although at the moment that could well be 55-60 days. So I now see how they get the first week of September...mmmm...will have to try and stay patient!

Mint Green doesn’t do it any favours at all. Oh dear.

The 992 is very colour sensitive. That’s about as polite as I can be about it’s styling.

Can’t see them from the inside. GT3 should be all about the driving experience. These days long forgotten..
