I wasn't sure about the wheels when you first posted. I think they look great on the car. The decals maybe play around with on the bonnet a bit more?

Looking good.

Not sold onthat badge across the rear. Looks odd and too big sat on the bumper. A simple 911 in gold sat centre on the lower area of the engine cover would look good.

Not that I wish to be negative, I think the whole build is fantastic.

Do you have any pictures of the completed interior?

I really like the gold over grey along the side here. Exactly how I had imagined it. I'd try to continue this theme. I'd consider just some simple gold pin stripes around the outside or near the edge of the grey on the bonnet and maybe even the boot lid. Although with the black spoiler it might get too fussy at the back. In the pics there isn't much contrast between the grey and the green so it might look different in the flesh. I think I'd go green spoiler because the green looks so good. Maybe lose the 2 grey parts from the back and go with a stripe along the width of the boot and then put your 911 in there with the gold detail as per the side.

I'll stop rambling now...

I have really enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing.

It looks lovely and the speed it has come together is really impressive.

Really enjoyed this thread, great to read about the build and great to see the outcome.

I think personally that I would prefer a 911 badge on the engine lid over the P O R S C H E but then, I am lacking in imagination and that’s what I chose for my car!

Really like what you have created, the 997 is such a pretty car and you have added a little menace, it’s fabulous.

I rather like the Porsche script across the back. Placed at the bottom of the lights like that it gives off a 928 vibe...

Would be interested in the open day too.

I will send a link when the day is set

I appreciate the feedback, it was an enjoyable process. I am doing another one for sure

I will live with it for a while and then see what I want to fiddle with. Photos do it no justice, I will get a proper SLR image in decent light asap

The idea of a gold pinstripe is a good one

You could extend the side detailing onto the front bumper corner

Absolutely love how you have finished the car.
I like the TechArt wheels anyway, but that colour combination takes it to the next level.

Yeah Jeweller! It looks superb, and really giving me the kick I need to crack on with my 997 Project. I love the green, I am still going to go Fjord Green with mine, I dare say it will be a 2022 project now though!

Its someone who did a bumper paint for me before. One man band, but I like his work. Based in Bucks

Happy to share when done!
Would you be able to share who did the paint now OP ? I live in Bucks and the body shop I used to use (who was also a one man band) has gone out of business..

Car looks awesome !

Interior, I like it. The front seats are not meant to match, the whole point is to make them look after market!

Very happy, getting the door handles and door arm rests trimmed in alcantara, thats the only bit to finish
