gosh the 2nd owner has only done a few hundred miles in it since i sold it to DL over a year ago. i guess that's not untypical for this type of car though. https://www.alexandersprestige.co.uk/used-cars/132...

Thought you'd actually been in a room with both, hence the certainty. CloudStuff said:
Do you lot keep a list of your foes, their transgressions / flips and potential alternate accounts?
To be fair, from what I can discern, it is only based on some tiresome, recurrent nonsense. Most people get on perfectly well. Indeed many on here actually know one another face to face. Which, contrary to popular wisdom about the anonymity of forums, does not necessarily make us any more considerate or polite to one another. Taffy66 said:
They're asking £10k more than DL were a year ago.
yes, DL took a bit of a bath on it i am afraid, had to reduce it several times and ended up selling right when prices were the lowest. values seem to to bounced slightly like everything else. 230-270k is the right value for these cars, list prices were stupid. Melvynr said:
It's not long adding up when you are tracking as regular as that. The thing that gripes me with Porsche is that they won't do a retrofit CCB like BMW do , both systems are made by Brembo SLG, bought the system for my M3 and was 7k fitted for fronts and rears.Cheers.
TBF, I knew I would have to replace the axles, bearings etc on all four wheels as these are track miles life items, but the front CCBDs were not worn it was to many large chips that put them outside the 111 Inspection range, for warranty purpose. As the car went back in 17 for 991.2GT3 it had to have these replaced.Edited by APOLO1 on Friday 1st October 10:05

Did you spec PCCB for the 992 too? Interested to know, given the stone chip issues, whether you think it worthwhile?Digga said:

Yes I put PCCBs on my 992GT3, for me its worthwhile option but i am more careful in it on track due to the all ducts underneath etc. So hopefully it wont have the same problem. Also you are allowed some chips and still meet the 111 Inspection criteria, but due to way in which i used my car it had to many large ones. Edited by APOLO1 on Friday 1st October 10:35

Definitely felt more bite with PCCB though, even if steels are fade free and very nice (probably better) to modulate on trail braking.

I have been told by my OPC that literally a handful of UK Tourings were allocated to dealers for 2021. My OPC is still waiting for his 2022 Touring allocation.
Thank you, sir, that's helpful. FP

As you probably know D your RS ended up going through a Porsche Finance auction sale at Nottingham BCA....hardly surprising when you say the amount of work more specifically extensive repaint it had.
Yes i do recall that, but it did sell from the supplying OPC at very close to the ask after around 4 weeks, appearance wise it looked like it had done a few 100 miles.Think it changed hands a few times before it ended up at the auction. It was the amount of miles that i did i it that put in out of "Sync" with other cars at the time. Shame as they can take it with ease if looked after......Edited by APOLO1 on Friday 1st October 12:31

That's a right shame concerning the ccb,I take it you must be picking up stones around the gravel traps on various circuits you visit?Edited by APOLO1 on Friday 1st October 10:05
Did you have any probs with the gt3 regarding stone chips on discs?

No gravel traps, but they do pick up chips from the track. I also did a few events at Bruntingthorpe thats most likely how it happened lots of lose surface on that layout. No nothing on the GT3 that required replacing, just a few sets of new Pads but i prefer to change at just over 50% wear.Did you have any probs with the gt3 regarding stone chips on discs?

Cool, best thing changing at 50% on ccb and keeps the heat out , don't trust the studs holding the pad to backing plate either and reckon they would make a mess of the disc.Good info buddy, keep enjoyingav185 said:
Looks like the majority of OPCs won't know their allocations until year end but one things for sure there won't be many cars.
I was told by my OPC Dealer Principal at launch a few months back that the 992 GT3 Touring would be built over a longer period than the 991 version, hence a bit more supply than 991GT3 Touring but obviously still relatively small numbers. Whether that changes with production delays across all models remains to be seen.briefly returning back to the GT3 prices heres one that increased this week https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202109267... on monday it was listed at 142.5k and now 150k .... the usual autumnal and winters coming reduction in prices doesnt seem to have any affect and prices still strong ... it is reasonably high mileage but has been used for what it was intended and in good condition with all the options ticked hope the owner gets the price they want

Almost identical in age and spec to mine except mine has 6k miles.Kudos granted on whoevers done the relatively high 20k miles. Hate saying it but overpriced at £150k with that mileage.
