I bet there's no more than a couple in the uk, maybe even only one. Maybe this is the car?

I'm certain that is the very same car. I think there was a signal yellow car in the far east but the french car was just speed yellow and nothing else in Europe. Could be wrong, I usually am.

It's the one on the thread I linked.

Car has gained some canards along the way.

if my memory serves me well a couple of years ago i was strolling across the workshop of an OPC and spyed a unusual coloured (yellow) 997 GT3 RS.2 without an engine which was in bits on the bench being rebuilt - i believe the owner got a somewhat lower gear than intended whilst going down the box in error on a track day....work checking with the vendor that my memory isn't playing tricks on me, which of course it may be, but belt and braces thought worth mentioning it.

Steve , would you mind please asking where he got the front winglets ( ala 4 RS ) and a part no/price if possible.

Stunning car, considerably undervalued IMHO.

Undervalued, are you sure? I would say its about right, as PTS, but over 14k miles.

If it is hiding an engine rebuild and OPCs would not touch it (for some reason) then it is overvalued. Though this is just internet speculation until the facts are confirmed. It does look nice and the 3.8 RS is an awesome drive smile

Signal yellow? Was that special order then? Looks fantastic. Just a shame about the chuffin stupid centre locks...

I think the paint to sample for this car cost 6 grand for some reason but not sure why. Is not PTS normally about 3K?

The PTS on this car was a lot of money.

The paint was expensive, having the decals done in black was expensive. I had it priced up when I ordered my RS and it was a more than £6k, plus VAT. Very ouch.

PS - I think it does look value, even at 14k miles. As for engine speculation, it didn't stop mine from being sold a huge premium!

Absolutely stunning. I really fancy taking a punt at this. But before I do, would it be too hardcore ? Is the gearing any good for road use ? Would it be suitable for use on UK roads ? I've heard it said that all GT3's are st, is this really the case ?
