For me its nice I guess to switch off sport mode when the car is tuned as it is a calmer drive/less aggressive.
Yep I know what sport mode does, your post read to me like SC was a positive because normal mode was somehow more relaxing than a non-SC car (whereas normal mode is presumably the same as non-SC car)

Yes it is more relaxing to drive in non sport mode.

overboost for 10 sec on gen 1 and throtte response 20% increased.
