everyone is different and I've been discussing the same with RHD fans on DDK for years biggrin .... but it's basic ergonomics that LHD has better pedal to seat alignment as unlike RHD, the inner wheel arch doesnt put the throttle pedal where the brake pedal should be smile

... as said by ss7, LHD - as god intended wink

You would get more safety features with the later NA cars as well as more space
thanks Jonny - come to think of it do you know if the 964 even has an alarm and immobiliser?

If you are looking for a pure and involving driving experience, the 964 will be a good option. Classic old school 911 looks with modern underpinnings. Very easy to tune should you need to also. In a 964, you don't need lots of power to enjoy the experience. If you are looking for a practical and effortless DD then I'd stay with the TT. It delivers on every level and as an all rounder, very hard to beat
great advice - many thanks
i'm halfway though writing the advert for the tt and you've made me hesitate!
That said, i think i will go for a top end price on the car and see if it sells - if it doesnt - it stays
