Very much this. If you are willing to buy it then someone else will. No options based car will have everything you want and that’s the luck of the draw when buying used. If this car has a much better spec than the other car surely there would be more times you would think “I miss...” whatever if you bought the one with heated seats over the much better specced cars.

Yep, very valid points, however I don't see this as a "forever" car, so wanted to see what the general consensus was on the importance of that option when it comes time to sell ... probably just over-thinking things (as I tend to do on occasion) !!
There are very few things that would mean a car wouldn’t sell. What they might impact on is price and how long it takes to sell (if you sell private). In my experience it’s usually big stuff like no PCM or GT car without buckets and stuff like that which tend to have that kind of impact but even then they will always find a buyer. Stop overthinking and buy the better spec car and if you’re partial to a warm bum then take a hot water bottle with you 
I wouldn't buy a car without them. In cooler weather or the winter I prefer heated seats and a low interior temp (17-18 C) as too warm a car puts me to sleep. I usually have a window open at least 10 cm unless it's raining or I'm driving at speed on a motorway. But to each their own.
