Yeh, for that money you’d want 0-60 in 2.8 secs, 0-100 in 6.3 and 200mph - oh hang on
as much as i like the turbo s and 911, also something that looks a bit special, not just like another 911Also so really needs a Turbo S now the rest of the range is turbocharged ? It’s lost its USP. It’s too quick for UK roads realistically as is a GTS.
The first year of production normally goes to the OPC clients who will sell them three months later….all part of the GT allocation game.

I honestly do not think there is another car that you can plausibly run daily that is anywhere near as capable, it will plod along on a motorway comfortably and it's quiet enough to use the hands free and have a phone conversation something that isn't possible in a GTS. And it will show anything a clean pair of heels on an early Sunday morning cross country drive. Yes it's a deprecation nightmare, but Turbo's ALWAYS have been. It's just the very recent past that has been skewed. Try running a Bentley Continental or Aston and you'll see similar if not bigger depreciation. It's unfortunately all part of the ownership proposition.

A friend was offered a new car (coupe, not cab), sitting at the OPC now, for £160k some £50k off the nominal list price of £210k. It was a quiet offer for a quick sale and he's thinking about it.
Interesting thing is that (in my opinion annyway) around £160K is where a new Turbo S should actually be price wise - £210K is simply Porsche ripping the backside out of things. Even buying at £160K new I suspect the car will lose him another say £40K over first couple of years? finmac said:

At least 40k. 991.2 turbo s is 80-90k today which tells you direction of travel. As another poster wrote, these cars depreciate heavily. finmac said:
