Exciting times for those who are speccing! Front sport design spoiler is essential for aesthetics in my opinion.
Without wishing to be contrary, I disagree...The sport design front looks too much of a fudge. It takes away from the overall design IMHO.
Looking at the videos of the car in motion - https://youtu.be/iVmQ21Fcxwk, I think the wider front grill gives the car a more dynamic stance.
Waiting for a call from the dealer to see if I'm getting one from their first batch....

First Porsche so some help please.
How important is the Bose sound system? Is it a must for resale? Keep reading Bose is essential
Also is the red/black interior a bit too much and harder to sell?
This is also my first Porsche and had the same dilemma with Bose. I don’t know whether it’s important for resale but I spent a lot of time at OPC listening to standard, Bose and bermeister and from those tests the Bose is a must. The standard sounded ok if the radio is all you listen to but music is important to me and standard didn’t cut it. The Bose provided greater clarity and deeper base. To be honest, I couldn’t justify the 3k for bermeister, but would have done if money was no object. How important is the Bose sound system? Is it a must for resale? Keep reading Bose is essential

Yeh I’ve not had a chance to compare at an Opc but from the reading I’ve done it seems like it’s a must tick option. Would love to get the red/black interior but think it might be a bit much, it is a lot of red!
Maybe adding coloured seat belts and rev counter will help add some colour...
Sunroof would allow more light but again from the bits of reading ive done, most say don’t go for sunroof for driving reasons though for resale it’s meant to be better
Well, pushed the button and paid my deposit today! Hoping for Mid year delivery if all goes well. Here is my initial spec http://www.porsche-code.com/PLDTMG36
Here’s what I’ve specced so far. Still deciding between silver or white on the exterior and for the interior black or red/black but options wise I think I’m happy with that. Anything that I might have missed that should be added ?

Looks like a great spec. Are you dead set on the 18 ways? I’d have a look at sports seats plus , never had a better seat in any car all round perfect in every way on balance. I dislike the 18 ways as I somehow think them a bit to homogeneous and I can’t stop micro adjusting them and not attaining the ‘right’ position. I also dislike how slow fore and aft is using electric motor vs old style lever. If your on the larger side then 18 ways but if 6 footish and under 200 pounds at least try the sports seats plus, they’re std in gen 2 991 gts As always imho.
Folding buckets are the best for me for total comfort but obviously not ideal as a daily in all honesty.
