This may be a terribly naïve question, but...has anyone been fortunate enough to confirm a configuration/order and place £10k deposit (ie, a confirmed vehicle from a UK OPC's allocation from PCGB) for a 992 Touring? I'm being told that PCGB will not give dealers' any allocation info on Touring until into 2022.
All thoughts and guidance gratefully received, chars.

I have been told by my OPC that literally a handful of UK Tourings were allocated to dealers for 2021. My OPC is still waiting for his 2022 Touring allocation. All thoughts and guidance gratefully received, chars.

Looks ok, but higher end of mileage spectrum (for GT3’s) wing ends painted black to look .2 red not always easiest to move on. But has PCCB, FAL, extended leather. Interested to know if engine has been replaced, many have, and probably most at that mileage (mine was replaced at 5k and is a late 2014). Only way to tell is look at engine number stamped on bottom of engine. Don’t rely on engine numbers printed under boot lid, door opening. New engine is a good thing especially if it’s a late ‘G’. Not many cars around at the mo, anyone heard of that dealer????Prob one of the highest mileage 991.1 GT3s at 34k and slightly weird spec with pccbs and comfort seats. Has the front end been painted? If so check where it was done.
Doubtful it has £20k of options. Prob nearer £14k. So otr list aroind £115k. They have listed many standard features in the extras list unsurprisingly.
How many owners?. The history needs checking carefully.
As Mankers says check whether the car has had a g engine under warranty. My 991.1 GT3 was similar age and had a factory fit upgraded engine with certificate to prove which is a big plus on these for resale.

Definitely look at the engine number stamped on the block. My 2014 had a replacement 'E' engine for the original con rod recall before delivery, which is the number on all the stickers on the door jam, engine lid, logbook, etc. It then had a 'G' engine replacement at an OPC a few years later which you can only see by removing the undertray to see the engine itself.
People talk a lot about the engine warranty running out at 10 years, but remember you can carry on extending the Porsche warranty up to 15 years for about 1k per year, which would take you up to 2029 (and you would be wise to do that anyway, given the cost and frequency of things like active engine mount failures). Ok, Porsche *might* start to increase the price of that once the factory engine warranty expires, and if you're very pessimistic they could start fighting top end failure claims as "wear and tear", but I think they're unlikely scenarios given they admitted fault for those failures in the first place.
I'm a big advocate for the "buy a .1 at the right price and drive the wheels off it" strategy, as you can tell, assuming you like PDK

If in the Market for one I would take a 991.1 GT3 if priced right no problem, would not be worried about the engine either as long as its been replaced, would 1005 renew the warranty though. I did 15k Miles with zero issues apart from engine replacement in my my one below from Oct 13 until June 15 when it went back in for the 91RS above. New engine fitted at 5k miles, used on lots of track days and V-Max events, was a Comfort spec seats also with no cage and CCBDs.

That did even more miles, it went round Ascari 2/3 times a week when ever i was in Spain then when it was at just over 25k, Klm i sold it in 2018 back to the local OPC for LHD Cayenne who sold it to a Sports cars rental Co, all it ever needed was tyres and pads, Great cars.....This is a great video of when the 991.1 GT3 came out, really shows what a big step up it was over the 997s
