How would you spec your 992 GTS?

Enquired for a few friends who wants a Targa GTS and being told Q2 2023.
Thanks, I placed my order in the first week of July 2021 and was told to expect a Q1 2022 delivery. I know that if you place an order today then it is up to 18 months lead time. However, this is my first Porsche, I'm very excited but all this waiting around and uncertainty is beginning to frustrate me. I've not been given an allocation yet and therefore not been asked to lock in my spec, so to be honest I'm not sure how realistic delivery in Q1 2022 is.Enquired for a few friends who wants a Targa GTS and being told Q2 2023.
However, I guess I need to keep things in perspective as there are much more important things happening in the World. I am feeling a little bit jealous of you folks who are getting your cars very soon or know they're on the way at least! lol

With regards to my Targa 4 GTS for this month, you might be right the build completion date moved until tomorrow. By the time it gets to Uk and the PPF is done it looks like next month before I will see it. Tbf I always thought it would towards the end of the year before i see it. M4_Schuey said:

Stay patient. The fact that you have an order in and accepted is quite a big thing at the moment as the Targa GTS is the hardest to be allocated out of the bunch! It's a rare beast - look on auto trader and there are only a couple for sale at the moment in the UK (991). Targa 4S are well over £20k premium too. Hang in there! However, I guess I need to keep things in perspective as there are much more important things happening in the World. I am feeling a little bit jealous of you folks who are getting your cars very soon or know they're on the way at least! lol

Sorry, I should have said, I've ordered a Coupe 2WD GTS in Guards Red and GTS Interior Pack. But yes, I take your point about the Targa being the hardest to get allocation, my OPC said exactly the same. When I placed my order in July, I was 7th on their list for a C2 GTS, I'm now down to 3rd so keeping everything crossed I'm on their next batch of allocations. To be fair to the Sales Manager whom I'm dealing with, he's a nice chap and keeps me updated, just things are out of his control with when allocations come through.
I'm also 3rd, so hoping for new allocations shortly as well.
My 991.2 4GTS is at the dealers today so they leant me their Shark Blue 4S Targa demonstrator. Lovely car, and quite a step up in terms of driving and interior than the 991.2. Also, no noticable buffeting with the roof down (windows up) which is good, as had heard conflicting stories.

Me and you should get our cars around the same time then I guess!Any of you guys had your Porsche Experience Centre invite come through? I'm thinking Porsche Centre Silverstone should have received their GTS's by now or are imminent at least?

Can you post some photos please would love to see a Targa in Shark Blue!
