PEC have a 992 Targa 4 GTS, my drive is next week.
It's funny how I asked this question today and then I literally just got an invite sent to me about 30 mins ago, will get something booked up as soon as I can. Enjoy your experience APOLO1.

Anyone know if the date of getting your PEC e-mail invite gives a clue on when your allocation is going to be made?
Hopefully, as got mine this afternoon as well. Was down at OPC Leeds an hour ago and there was a guy there collecting his 4GTS Coupe, which looked fantastic in Agate grey.

Can you post some photos please would love to see a Targa in Shark Blue! With the roof up and down would be great many thanks!
I only took a couple, both with the roof up.If your on instagram then look at the profile of 'supercarsimmo' who is one of the sales exec's down there, as there are a few photo's and video's on there.
Lovely thing though. A marked improvement over the 991.2 IMO.

Dipping in here from the Cayman forum to comment that I have a GT4 on order, I’m next on the list for an allocation, and I received my PEC email on the 1st of this month. When I asked my dealer if there was any relation to me receiving the email v my allocation movement he was adamant there wasn’t. kmpowell said:

On my experience, as long as its car that is in play and has been announced to the market, then as long as you have paid a deposit then you will receive an invite even if you are still waiting for a build slot. Thats if PEC actually have a car that is.APOLO1 said:

LOL. I've no intention of going to Silverstone in the winter so there is no rush but given Porsche seem to micro detail everything to do with the order I presumed there was some logic!EC2 said:

I too got excited when I saw the email, but my dealer said everybody who has a live order in the system will get an experience day email and they are sent out in batches. He advised I should/can use the day to narrow down any questions I have in my head around options to spec. Given my dates are a choice in Dec/Jan or Feb, and the British weather can't be relied on, I'm not going to rush/inconvenience myself and/or make a big day of it, but instead go on a weekday and take my dealers advice around option choices from the cars he said are there, which is hard to do in the real world due to the lack of cars to physically see.
This is my thinking also, and will be looking at the options closely to be in a better informed position come order locking time. Whether it's linked to the allocation or not, it's nice to have received this invite and makes the order feel real for the first time aside from waving good-bye to the initial £5k deposit!
Loved the 991.1 GTS. I think this has huge potential - a C2 GTS coupe - yes, please.
Aerokit - in principle, yes - not sure about the design of the 992 aerokit though. Horses for courses.
This is my ideal spec - http://www.porsche-code.com/PN3XBH20
(I know, yellow with red but I love it)

I’ve got an order in and expect it Q2 next year, I too had the email. Here is the response from my broker;
Hi James
I think they've jumped the gun. It won't be ready for some time yet. Suspect they've got you on their data base for a 992 GTS and this invite has come out too soon.
The Porsche dealers updated their order to make sure you had the revised alloys wheels as you requested.
Not what I wanted to hear. Still at least it’s coming, at some point

What are peoples opinions on the Porsche graphics that you can option? For instance the bonnet, roof and spoiler stripe and also the side logos on the bottom of the doors?
Is it overkill or do you think certain colours pull it off better?
Personally I think they're absolutely horrific in any guise. Horses for courses though, some of the car's spec'd in here make me cringe but I've probably went as boring as can be with spec'ing mine.Is it overkill or do you think certain colours pull it off better?

the side decals look good on the air cooled 911's (and the svelte Cayman R if I say so myself), but the 992 has eaten too many pies to pull it off. Is it overkill or do you think certain colours pull it off better?
