Can I ask a question to the lucky people who have taken delivery, from the build date, what is an approx time before it's actually at the dealership?
Mine was quite quick - it left the factory on 6th July and arrived at the OPC on 13th July. Everything fell right though as it was sent to Emden the same day it was completed and there must have been no delay at the port either. Normal time span is two weeks or just over I believe. On your other question - I wouldn't wait either, take delivery as soon as it's ready - it's a fantastic car, you will be very happy so just enjoy it! The price difference after three years will be negligible if there is any so don't worry.

Hi All,
I have a question for all UK car buyers! I have a 991.2 gts Arriving in January! So excited! However my license plate will be a 67 plate as registered first half of the year. If I wait for a march delivery i will get a fresh 18 plate. Does this affect resale value at all? Should I wait till march? Technically my car will be registered jan 2018 so it will be a 2018 car anyway.
All opinions welcome please!
Thanks!

Life is too short.
If it was 2 weeks, then I'd probably wait, but any longer than that, probably not.
If it was a couple if days before the end if the month, I'd probably wait until the first of the month too, in order to not lose the vms,use of a whole months tax for the same if 2 days, especially when the tax on these new cars is much higher than it was earlier this year!

Mine completed production (V300) on 10 Dec, and was ready for collection from dealer on 23 Dec. Each day seemed to pass so slowly.Cipo said:
So, after spending a few hours in the 4GTS today, in summary, have to say that I've been blown away with this cars quality, performance and handling.
Having never owned a Porsche, I am so pleased with my choice and am looking forward to picking my new car up this Saturday.
Well that's lucky, be a bit late if not Having never owned a Porsche, I am so pleased with my choice and am looking forward to picking my new car up this Saturday.
Hi guys. Quick question, how fussy should I be? Noticed this defect/imperfection in the bumper - it's on the inside edge. What would you do out of interest?
My own opinion is that it's a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a car and it should be perfect. Why wasn't this picked up at the factory?
Edit - there is paint protection film covering it, however the defect was already there prior to this.
