I'd like to have seen it with the silver roll over hoop/wheels combo.
There's a picture of Walter Rohl's R in oak green with silver wheels - it looked much better.

Agree and also I am not particularly a fan of Oak Green....Brewster, BRG and Irish Green are all nicer looking dark greens.

Not quite sure what the connection is with Porsche and Green but quite often special cars like the 1,000,000th 911 are produced in Green and the like of Messrs Rohl and Preuninger spec their own cars in PTS Green's

Agreed - silver would definitely help.

I'm sure that will work great on a coupe, quite special in fact but not on a targa

Looking at those photos i think the metallic Oak green looks incredibly classy and understated and eminently suits the Targa.Having said that i'm biased as the first 991 i ever sat in was a metallic green one back in 1979. If i get a new GT3 RS allocation next year and PTS is available on it it will be Viper/RS green whatever the cost.

Congrats - that looks great. I remember loving the big bumper Golf GTIs in that colour.

Enjoy the car!

Thank you thank you all!
I'm delighted with it. But it's all a matter of taste isn't it?
