Yes. Was at the Mission Motorsport Silverstone day a few weeks back and mentioned to Greig I’d like a 991.2 … and he called me the next day to say someone was looking to sell!

Can’t wait to get on track with it

hehe In for a quick pitstop as the axle lift stopped working. As usual RPM have fixed it in a trice, dropped off on Wednesday back Saturday, great guys and a fab outfit.

As a point of reference for the price monitors, I’ve just bought a late 2017 991.2 GT3 PDK Clubsport with 9k miles for £145k.

Lift. PCCB’s and other stitching stuff that throbbers like Av185 would like but I have already forgotten.

Hopefully collecting tomorrow.

Have just booked onto Silverstone for April 11th and also the Manthey day in May at the ‘ring.

Classicline are the insurers and the ‘ring just carries an extra cost of £200’ish extra for the day.

Great colour combo.

ClassicLine for the win biggrin

Classicline weren't covering the 'Ring when I asked last year. Is the £200ish cover with them and not another insurer?

I haven't sorted cover yet for DN May but had to use Moris last year.

I think I will use RPM if I don't renew the Porsche warranty, as although not close, look very professional

My personal take is that as these cars get older, the service routine needs to include far more than is on the OEM schedule and scope. I have used OPC Wolves for my car and they are very good, but there's stuff they can't and don't get involved with. Principally on the Mezger is the tricky issue of coolant hoses.

An expert indie is my personal choice. We're lucky to have a few in UK.

That’s quite a GT3s collection you have now. How do you decide which car to take out?

st! You're right, I got confused. Thank god you queried me as I'd have taken it off to the 'ring without checking! Classicline said no, Locktons said yes, just an extra excess but I have asked them to send an email confirming.

Thank you Digga!

Thank you!

With the 996 and 7, it just depends which one needs a run out and track dependant. If a Euro trackday, then the 997 as it's LHD ...and the 7 is better suited, I find, to longer legged circuits like Silverstone or Brands GP. Prefer the 6 on the smaller tracks like Oulton, Cadwell, Donny.

Really looking forward to seeing how the 991 feels. Have the 'ring and Silverstone coming up soon...not used a PDK porker on circuit before.

When I asked Locktons a few weeks ago when renewing mine they said they only cover PCGB days now with absolutely no exceptions. In the past they might cover non PCGB days subject to their underwriters approval but sadly no longer the case.
Reason given was they'd had a few big payouts last year on non PCGB days. Based on this I'm pretty astonished that they're willing to cover the Ring

I did a GT Experience at PEC Silverstone in 991.1 GT3 and RS.

Was a intrigued as to whether I would get on with PDK, but found it a delight. Just seems to work intuitively and unobtrusively. Very rapid shifts too.

Congratulations on the 991 GT3 purchase, it looks a great example!

I understand your old F430 Spyder is coming to the market soon, if you are feeling nostalgic? smile
