He says the 992.2 will be shown at the end of the year and first customer deliveries will be in Feb 24. 992 production is going to increase by 30% from November as Boxster/Cayman production is being moved from Zuffenhausen to Osnabruck. So delivery times will come down, particularly for more affordable 992's which have been squeezed out of production to accomodate models with higher margins. The new mainstay engine will be the 9A3 Evo which moves from 3.0 to 3.6 litres. Carreara will get 400bhp, S will get 454bhp and GTS 483 bhp.

I have a reverse issue, my 992T will be delivered this month… and today I got a call from the OPC that my 992 Targa 4S allocation came through. I went to My Porsche app and here it is! However, I want 992.2 Targa, so I will skip the 992 allocation.

992 Carrera S manual order placed early Sep 2022, dealer called me today, I’ve got an allocation for a beginning of July build with delivery forecast end of July. Whoppee!!! A lot quicker than I was expecting.
Could this be added to the tracking table please?

If I wasn’t collecting 992 T this month, I would be mildly annoyed, as I am waiting for 992 C2S since Nov-2021. Anyway, good for you!

Sounds like you been giving an allocation by your dealer, poor that they have not contacted you to tell you! Make sure it’s your final spec before it locks with factory? Ordered a C2 in February 2022.
