Time frame depends on when you order in relation to the next PTS window for UK cars.

I had first Targa 4GTS.2 in Uk back in Feb. That was black. But wanted a brighter colour. Was advised a few slots left for PTS window for Oct build back in May, so decided to order another one in Pastel Orange.

Friends at exclusive AG have said at this time no 991.2 Targa 4 GTS been done in pastel orange.

My backyard and the same road Lowndes took his new GT3 a few weeks ago..Can you clarify where the last picture was taken because i can't pin it down exactly.
By the way your Oak green GTS looks even better out and about in deepest wild Wales.
Bottom picture is here, stunning valley but not to be driven at pace.

Looks absolutely stunning Chris. Even better than expected.

Do you want to swap it for a Grahpite Blue version that is fully run in? It’s even got a very squeaky sunroof for added aural pleasure!

Enjoy the collection and the wait was definitely worth it.
It has a terrible rattle/buzz from the rear passenger seatbelt or speaker, will have to get that sorted. If not then it's going to the scrappy.

I think it’s a standard feature on the new models. I think the scrappers yard is the only place for it to go now you’ve gotten mud all over it.

What do you think of the car - pretty awesome? Better than the .1? Seems a bit sharper and pointy to me.

I thought so,but i wasn't sure because i haven't been there for a good few years...One of the most beautiful drives in Wales and you must have driven through Tregaron to get there....

Great pics Tuffer, love seeing them out in the wild. Even though it's the same wheels painted platinum, they look chunkier to me!

Can't get the Porsche Connect to work at all, doesn't connect when I try to put in the pairing code. Do you need that for google maps to work as it isn't coming up. Other than that, loving my car, the amount of kids that shout "rev it'' when I park up or stop at traffic lights is ridiculous.

Loving it, just so easy to drive at a nice pace, the Torque is always there and it does not suffer from being in too high a gear in normal mode like the 997 and 991.1 did. I often found with my other ones that whilst just driving normally you would come off a roundabout or junction and put your foot down, nothing, then you would prod it and it would drop a couple of gears and then you would be in a low gear and all hell breaks loose when all you really wanted was a bit of mid range grunt. Fine if you were in Sport or Sport + and wanted to hoon it but then at the top end of the Rev range it always felt like you were being a bit of a dick on public roads. 991.1 just makes progress, plenty quick, discreet and I reckon on average probably at a quicker pace than my old one. Overtaking is just a breeze. Probably mid way between a 991.1 GTS and a Turbo S would be a good way to describe it. No lag, at all, I don't care what anyone says.
Right, off to clean it and fit my Zunsport Grills.

I've recently just sold my 991.2GTS coupe to make room for my new GT3.The GTS is the best car i've ever owned and the GT3(arriving next week) is going to have to be extra special to surpass the GTS imo.
I also could not detect any lag whatsoever on the GTS however i could on the 420hp S version..I'd love to know what magic Porsche have worked on the GTS's engine because if feels in a different league to the S's..

Taffy, this is exactly what I found when I had my OPC demo GTS for the weekend, coming from selling a .1GT3 I must say as an all rounder, the GTS won hands down compared to the GT3!

So with my GTS being a physical car now, (having had th Porsche Connect email to setup) was nice to wake up to the email I must say! I’m 100% looking forward to the handover.

Taffy, did you take a bath on price selling the 991.2 GTS so soon or was it OK?

Not really,i had it for about four months and 1600 miles and after my OPC's cut for SOR i got back about £6k less than i paid for it..This i pretty fair because when i paid a deposit on it in January i never expected to sell it so soon..Getting a GT3 allocation changed things but if i was able to afford to keep it to run alongside my GT3 i wouldn't have sold it.

They allowed you to SOR a GTS?? Was this a Porsche owned? I’ve been told that only the GT products they are allowed to sell SOR!! Must say the more I hear from guys in here the more my OPC are taking the piss! They told me I would have to PX my GTS come an Allocation.

Codswollop. They will SOR anything at the sales manager/dps discretion - but they make more money just taking it in P/Ex, so if they have the funds ready it makes a lot more sense to them.

When i picked up my GTS in May i p/x ed my GT4 for it and got exact list for it which i thought fair considering i had been given a GT3 allocation..Its a case of if you scratch my back i'll scratch yours and all above board imo.
My OPC have always been upfront and transparent with me however i'm a very calm, level headed pragmatic kind of person to deal with..If anyone gives an OPC sales person a hard time then don't expect any favours in return..
Basically i treat people in the same way i like to be treated myself and that includes my business dealings as well.

Thanks Taffy, I px'd the 981 Spyder for the GTS and have an allocation for GT3. Very similar buying journey. I will keep the GTS if the Boss let's me, but good to know it's not a horror show if I need to swap for GT3 (Touring).
