How would you spec your 992 GTS?
Discussion
Borrowed a 911 GTS (991.2) from my Dealer a few years ago which was also British Racing Green - I was taking the mick saying the colour was horrendous!!
Only borrowed it as was ordering one and wanted to see how I would get on with it.
Had it for the weekend and when I took it back, believe it or not, I wanted to buy it. The colour just grew on me more and more. Dealer only refused to sell as had to keep as a demo which sold immediately after they finally advertised it.
The photos of this one do not do it justice as they look too pale. There is one shot that shows a very deep green which is more reflective of the actual look of the car.
Each to their own as they say but until you physically see the car, I wouldn't write it off.
Just my opinion after nearly having bought one the same colour.

Hi all, I’m new here. My name is Alberto and i recently moved from Abu Dhabi to Zurich. As part of the relocation deal (made with my lovely wife) we agreed I would have finally ordered my first 911 to enjoy the mountain passes.
I ended up reading this forum in my desperate look for arctic grey! It seems impossible to find a car in that color!
Anyway, i just placed my order for a 992 Carrera GTS and yes, it’s going to be in arctic grey!
If anybody has any photo of it, please please please share them as i’m seriously intrigued by the final look of the car.
If you got questions on my order, feel free to ask! Expected delivery between May and August 2023!
Cheers everyone for now!

Don’t like it either. I think the light is not helping as well. It seems like a bad copy of graphite blue metallic of the 991.2.
However, i have seen the color live on a cayenne turbo gt and gt4 rs and it looks nice.
All other details of the spec have been basically locked from my side but exterior color is the hardest one! I want to keep the car till i am capable of driving it, hopefully, so it’s important to get it right! In shortlist, apart from arctic grey, gt silver, agate grey and carmine.
This is the spec as of now: http://www.porschecode.com/PPT3XPY9

If thats a 'van', then yes it certainly a wierd one, as personally don't see many vans around where the roof comes off, are that low, and that go that quick.
The privacy glass isn't actually as dark in reality, unless there is no direct sunlight. I have it on mine and had concerns it may have looked too dark, but am happy with it now. I wanted it so people can't see into the car, whether thats because I have a young child in there, or because I have shopping/golf clubs on the back seating area.
For those that think its too dark you can get clear glass and have it retrospectively tinted if you wanted to. Each to thier own.
As for Arctic Grey, again personal opinion, but I'm not sold on it. Looks like the old Graphite Blue colour. If we all liked the same though, the world would be an extremely dull place.
