I think Brooklands has slightly different rules. They are just a service centre and used retailer - no new cars. I remember a guy from Reading OPC telling me once

Any guesstimate as to how many have been delivered in the UK?

Got to be a significant proportion flipped already:

1 sold by Romans.
1 sold by Top555.
1 sold by Hillmoren
1 at Amari
2 at Redline
1 at Daniel Myers
1 at Brooklands OPC
1 buildslot at 'Supercar Sourcing'

Looks like everybody is flipping doing it.

Yikes. What happened to Porsche dealerships not being allowed to publicly advertise flipped cars within 6/12 (can’t remember which) months? Didn’t that come from Porsche GB? Seems to have gone out the window anyway. The price is quite ridiculous, I really hope someone doesn’t pay that.
It was merely an advisory from Porsche GB for 6 months following the bunfight and premiums ££ on the 981 GT4 in 2015.

Crazy price but wouldn't be surprised if it sells in this market.

Out of interest the first flipped 991.2 GT3RS sold for c£295k.

Don't forget that the majority of the ones already flipped have been done behind closed doors at the supplying OPCs. It wouldn't surprise me in the least that over 50% of all 992GT3s have already been 'flipped'.

Actually - I'm not quite sure how that works! You mean, sold without being advertised - but will still have 2 owners in total on the V5?

Or, re-sold prior to being registered (so 1st owner buys at a premium)?

Confirms my thoughts - Shark Blue and Voodoo Blue very similar indeed. Shark Blue ever so slightly darker?

Common practice. The first owner(flipper) keeps it for a couple of weeks before taking it back to his OPC for ''safe keeping'' before being sold on an SOR basis. Very common practice where the 'flipper' and the OPC share the spoils and repeated every time a new GT Porsche gets launched. Most OPCs have a couple of habitual 'flippers' who know beforehand that they always get one of the very first cars to maximise profit.

You’re right no one is going to pay that, just the monthly’s for a couple of months and then it’ll
Be back on sale again - these are the cars that will have 9 owners in 3 years

Ah, ok. So sold by the OPC to the second owner without being advertised. Simples.

It was good to see 3 of them on track at Snetterton earlier this week, Porsche Club GB track day. Not everyone a flipper.

Stupidly ambitious price from a greedy flipper/OPC and a real kick in the teeth to all the true Porsche enthusiasts who couldn't get an allocation. A blatant disregard to the pretend anti flipping policy from Porsche GB. Not going to do Porsche's image any good whatsoever and will drive loyal customers towards other brands leaving only the flippers behind.
Surely you would buy a 991 GT3RS WP for £60k less

Must be hard for a business to say no though, how much would it cost to get your name in front of 600k people in your target market using traditional methods I wonder?

It’d be dumb for them to say no
They aren’t getting their name in front of anyone with any interest because the only people interested/not interested wouldn’t get the said vehicle they were interested in any way

All they are advertising is we are happy to further line a YouTubers pocket most probably annoying 99.9% of other customers who would most definitely not purchase from them

I agree with a lot of what you say on this.

But dont forget there are some that bought quite a few cars in order to get a build slot, these COVID times have a big impact on some not just in health ways but financial also. They have other priorities and just cannot afford to keep these cars that were ordered many months ago. Not saying this happens in every case, but i do know to 2 that have been given back to the supplying OPC for these reasons.
