I drove the car for 40mn this early morning. A bit of M4 and some Surrey B roads. Few cars, good twisty roads at times, nice long countryside stretches. The car is wonderful. I am missing the mechanical noises but… it feels new, I feel even more one and connected with the car. A few 7k RPMs already please my ears and there is some little exhaust sound when you decelerate which is quite nice too. The overall grip is fantastic and there a few places where I thought I had been a bit optimistic but little steering input combined with more grip were enough to get the car where I wanted (or was hoping!) it to be.
Each generation of 911 and even more so GTs have their merits and money permitted… I would have them all and with each one a very specific experience.
But as I said several times, I love this car. In a different way I loved the previous gen or love an RS. But I am happy I have it and I believe all new owners of the next batch will be very pleased owners!
I parked the car at 10am and I still have a big smile on my face😁

Absolutely ,every generation of gt3 I’ve driven has been brilliant ,just waiting to drive the current one now .Each generation of 911 and even more so GTs have their merits and money permitted… I would have them all and with each one a very specific experience.

Yes, went PDK, thought the chassis, set up etc required PDK to bring the best out in the car. I’ve also kept the Touring as want to decide longer term which one is the keeper.
Hi ChapsSame position here, Not a chance I'm keeping my 992 over my touring....
My 992 will be sold next year.
I will be amazed if you guys keep the 992...

Interesting comments… can you share more?
You took the words right out of my mouth It’s too techy for me, and the touring is just perfect.
So if I am going to sell one, it’s not the touring.!
And I have a 991 RS too, and I prefer that over the standard 992GT3
I’m not in it for flipping though and will use the 992 lots more yet before I make any decisions, I might just keep her with the others though tucked away…
To add…. I do love the look of the front of the 992… I know many of you guys don’t though!

Strange you had made your decision in your prev post!
The decision is made. The 992 will always be sold before the touring.
Will it be next year as I said?
Most probably, I am in no rush to do anything and thankfully selling it isn’t high on my priority.
I stand by the fact that I will be amazed if anyone else with a touring sells the touring to keep a standard 992GT3…
All nice problems to have

Could you extrapolate on the downsides of the 992GT3 compared to the 991 Touring from a driving pov. Same goes for your 991RS which is my personal 991 favourite and not just because I also own one.The 992 will always be sold before the touring.
