Got a nicer call than last time today. Was supposed to be picking my car up tomorrow, but was told it had a 3 week delay last week.
The this morning got a call to say it had arrived at the dealer. Will be going to have PPF applied Monday then pick up next Thursday.
Lovely, which green is that? I’ve got Miami blue GTS, think next one might have to be greenThe this morning got a call to say it had arrived at the dealer. Will be going to have PPF applied Monday then pick up next Thursday.

Thanks, it’s Viper Green, there’s a few greens, and I switched between them a few times, but upon seeing yellow green and then viper in the flesh, instantly I knew viper was the one. I’m a big fan of olive green too. I also love the blues, Mexico and voodoo, but you rarely see a green Porsche so just went with it.
Thanks, looks much better in the metal too. Interior is the full GTS leather/alcantara with silver stitching and belts, plus seat backs in leather with silver stitch instead of the grey plastic seat backs - with a few extra options it’s a lovely top quality place to be inside. Must say the Bose is really good too, far exceeded my expectations if anybody debating going Bose.....

Pictures really don’t do it justice! The blue is really quite striking in a funny way and the spec and options really finish of the car beautifully.I’m probably a bit biaised and I wasn’t sure about the blue personally, but love it now I’ve seen it..... Great Car!
Anyone looking for a Racing Edition there is a white one in OPC Mayfair and OPC Leicester also have a blue on on their website although doesn't have the decals which is a bit odd! £140k! https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/8409625-porsch...
I thought they were sold out!

So, I've had my new GTS for 3 weeks now but due to work and the inclement weather I haven't driven it much.......until Wednesday, when I had a spin down to the South coast.
The weather was lovely and sunny if a bit cool, so caution was the order of the day in the shady spots. In fact there was still snow drifts restricting a few of the smaller roads on the coast! As the trip progressed it was fantastic to get a better feel for the car and the confidence to grow. It really is a great drive, a revelation in fact and the steering feel and ride is better than I recall any previous cars (new car-itis perhaps...? I think not) I've owned. I'm really really pleased with the colour, although I know Miami blue can be a bit marmite. The interior is a lovely place to be, I'm glad I ticked more boxes than I should have, with the 18 way, leather backed seats just about perfect for me.
It's too early to really comment on the RWS and performance-wise, as I'm running it in I didn't go mad with the revs but everything seemed fine. I changed my order quite late in the day from manual to PDK after my PEC day and I'm not disappointed. The collection went well but I was disappointed with the standard of the paint finish but fortunately I had it booked in for a new car detail and ceramic coating.
The noise is great albeit not as loud as I recall previous iterations of 911's but more than loud enough for me, maybe the colour makes up for the noise a bit...... I was concerned that I would receive a fair amount of negativity driving a 911 but I have found the opposite so far if I'm honest. Lots of thumbs up, waves and grins from other drivers and plenty of small children pointing, waving and shouting. When I got back home I was buzzing and would of happily gone out again for a few hours. The urge to just go and drive the thing is huge at the moment, I'm especially looking forward to some warm dry summer evenings.
It's my first Porsche and I'm no driving god but it's a huge step up from what I have been driving recently. First impressions have exceeded what I thought it would be like, so it gets a 9.95/10 from me.

Looks & sounds identical spec to my GTS.
The noise improves with the miles, by 4000 mine had a deeper exhaust note and engine more free revving.
Enjoy

Mine sadly has not been used much due to the rubbish weather, minimal miles covered so far but hopefully the run in period will be over soon.
...but I do keep going into the garage to have a quick peek at the sexy rear end!
My 991.2 GTS went back yesterday to make way for the GT3T. It’s definitely the best car I have ever owned and it was sad to see it go (except that they found my missing house keys and half of a Yorkie bar when they were cleaning it). I now have a 911 shaped hole in my garage and that’s not good! Because it’s so good I’ve decided to get another GTS. It makes a brilliant daily driver and my new one will come at the end of May. I did 7,000 miles in the first one, looking for a reason to drive it every day, come rain or shine. I doubt I will the do the same with the GT3 because it’s manual, no rear seats and probably a bit hardcore for every day. Time will tell, but I suspect the GTS will remain a firm favourite in our house and the next one’s a keeper.

Not brand new, but picking up a racing yellow 991.1 in the next few days. Avec Duck spoiler, which is surely de rigeuer if you could get one?
Really, truly over the moon.
The ducktail is great on the Gen 1...in fact a must have almost. I think quite a few were retrofitted. Really, truly over the moon.
