Picked up my car on Thursday, wow, what a car! It’s rained ever since I got it so no roof down action, but I’m impressed by the traction in the wet.

I do have an issue with the windows not going up properly when putting the roof up, hoping that will be sorted easily enough though.

It’s viper, and it draws a lot of attention, it’s a beautiful colour though.

About the only boxes I didn’t tick were pdcc and pccb.

Front end has ppf too, which I’m glad I got, peace of mind, and you wouldn’t know it was there unless I told you.

I’ve come from a Boxster GTS, and this thing is seriously fast!

Just bought a GT silver GTS PDK with nice options including roof, GTS red pack, Bose etc. It used to be on reg number GB64 GTS and last owner was called Nigel.
Was bought from Sheffield originally then went through JZM to its second owner.

Anyone here?
Just bought this car on Saturday from Colchester! Seems in good nick. Enjoying it so far. Nice upgrade on my old 991S.

Purists are going to hate this, but I've got Alcantara in a Macan GTS and 981 Spyder so I'd thought I'd go for something different.

Liking that alot. Goes great with the exterior colour, good choice smile

Very nice!

Is that a real ST or a rep lurking behind the pillar?

If real they are 700k?? I had a closer look and seems real but odd place to leave such a car

Does it have reg plates on it? DVLA site will give the details if it does.

Obviously an incredibly rare car if it is a real one... ST is the best looking 911 of all time IMO.

My windows weren’t going up properly on my car when putting roof up (since picking the car up), so it was booked in this weekend, but it’s started working now. Very strange.

I do have a couple more issues though, has anyone else had issues connecting to the WiFi in the car, my iPhone won’t connect, keeps saying wrong password, when it clearly isn’t, I’m an IT consultant, so know a thing or two about connecting to WiFi....

Anyone know if there’s a way to extend the distance the poi warning signal is set to please? I added speed cameras, but it warms me way too close to them, just can’t find an option to change the distance.

Is it possible to show the speed limit on the map too, sure my Boxster did this? I have it in the instrument binnacle, I have the speed limit option, but would like it on the pcm screen too if possible.

Finally, did anyone get a litre of oil with their car please? I got one with the Boxster but not the 911, so wondered if it was a dealer thing or whether every car is supposed to come with a top up bottle?

Just picked up my GTS convertible (pics will follow), the speed limit setting is in the sat nav option a box to tick to turn it on.

Not sure about the rest.

Wifi: download from your mobile provider app store the "Connect " app, not to be confused with "Car Connect". fwiw once connected you will receive map updates via your phone's wifi hotspot too.
No doubt you'll be about to find out the various ways of connecting a phone.... USB, Bluetooth, CarPlay etc all of which do subtly different things and feature sets.
The phone and feature connectivity is my mine area of complaint about the new Porsche's. Quite confusing when compared with other manufacturers

Good news.

Mine has been in the uk for about 2 weeks. It’s currently having full ppf fitted (got to protect the pts colour), so I should finally get mine a week tomorrow.

And I haven’t even seen a picture of mine yet hehe

My GTS Targa is now at the dealer, I'm thinking of selling or cancelling it though having lost my original desire to own it. I guess It's a change of mind set during 5 months waiting. Right now I'm trying to find reasons to keep it.

That's interesting. How can you cancel it w/o incurring a big cost? Would you just lose the deposit? If so, I kept mine for a year, did 8,000 miles and it only cost me marginally more than the deposit when I did a trade-in (against a new GTS).

Man if you feel like that before even getting car thats not a good sign. Dont know your background as would say might be worth driving one first but its a targa

Definitely a must have for a 991.1!

What a brilliant car this is by the way, delighted with it.
