It's never stopped you before.

You're not offering an explanation then?

Again, the assumption. Foolish.

ETA. I tell you what, let's make this a little interesting. If your assumption (and all of the typical drivel that goes with it) is proven to be wrong, you donate £250 to a charity of my choosing.

How's that?

It's worth mentioning my early 996 is running great and such a joy to drive. Really really getting under my skin.

Just driven from Surrey to Essex in mine... last time I’ll drive it for a while, so gave it a good thrash!

I'm unaware if some kind of 'back-story beef' exists between you pair but - really? An internet call out?

Are you not both adults sharing a passion for Porsche?

Same here!
'99 Carrera - two years in my keep - absolutely sweet as a nut to drive

For anybody reading and tempted by an early 3.4 996 - I highly recommend
(usual caveats apply for many modern-classic car approaching 20 years, although Porsche built the 911 very well)

Please. Will the pair of you either grow up or bugger off. You've jointly ruined a decent and informative thread.

A number could be made, but I'll keep it brief and just make one.
