I personally think some of the asking prices of 997.1 gt3 cars is a disaster waiting to happen if you buy at these hyped asking prices.
agreed and am actively in the market and the dealers dont like me as i wont close. id close tomorrow if the market was heading the other way but at worst it stays flat and more likely they still soften a bit

i know its likely only a couple of quid in the grand scheme of things but still

i spoke to camerons about their very nice cobalt blue .1 cs and he is still confident that they will get the 90 ask given the volume of interest

Out of interest, have you made any offers on the cars that you have seen ?

Just curious to see if dealers are willing to do a deal or are sticking to their guns. For the one at Camerons I'd be tempted to throw in a low ball offer to see how they react. IIRC it's been for sale for quite a while.

So far the OPCs have been more flexible given they need to move stock on within 15-30 days which is why the poverty spec one at glasgow had about 4k lopped off a few days back

i told camerons that its too rich at asking but once it drifts towards a normal numbering beginning with 8 then id pop over

the black one at simons of shropshire has the most wiggle room but over revs in 4 albeit very early on in the cars life

Looks like they have reduced this car by quite a lot.

I think they have taken 4K to 5k off the asking price?

Looks a nice clean car from the pictures and you would get the two year Porsche warranty for peace of mind. It now makes other cars for sale at independents look over priced.

It’s been up for some time, let’s see if this large price drop is enough for someone to dip their toe in the water!

there is another one 'out there' with the ultimate comfort spec that includes pccbs, buckets, extended leather, contrast stitching, colour coded transmission tunnel, etc for less than 80

I was lucky when I brought mine 6 years ago . Only saw 2 . My one was at porsche Bristol. They gave me price for my 997 carrera 2s cab on a Wednesday. On the Saturday left at 4.30 am to get there for 08.30 .test drive coffee and cake. Bank transfer and on my way home at 11.30 . I have never been so excited collecting a car. Still the best car that touches all my senses I’ve ever had.

A couple of long term advertised gt3's seem to have been reduced in price over the last few days. The silver one at Ashgoods & the white cs at NK Motors.
Obviously these cars aren't on SOR and are owned by the retailers unlike the majority which haven't changed price in months.
Signs of the static market? Still some corrections to come surely?

Ironically I was discussing the ashgoods car with the owner at around late 60s before it went to them! It's got some ohlins goodies on it I believe

RC1 I had similar conversations but wasn't in a position to buy at the time from him. Probably the best value gt3 out there currently?
Have you viewed it?

Fooking hell if the last owner sold it for late £60k to Ashford's they have one put a £20k something mark up on it!

The markets not gone made honest....

The car we are referring to us up for very late £60ks so hardly any profit in it for the dealer. Probably didn't realise the market was heading as far South as it has, like all the other owners trying to shift theirs.

Interesting to see Jzm have removed one of the white 997.2 gt3 cars from sale, it’s been with them for the best part of a year. I wonder if it will pop up In another garage soon.

Another new 997.2 gt3 has come on the market this week if anyone is looking to buy at 96k at an OPC, white comfort spec.

Feels a bit toppy after the CS was sold for £95K?
