GT meet up - Getting idea for interest and numbers

Hi Frrair here.

My daughter's Uni has been shut down so I now have to pick her up on Sunday instead of this.

It's a damn shame as I have been looking forward to this and I got it on the calendar early enough for it to be officially recognised by SWMBO.

Ticket going FOC if anyone wants it.

Someone please post some photos so I can see what I have missed.

I've even put the wheels back in the car and everything. (Thought that might be useful.)

What a good meet, despite the Old Testament-level rain en route. Really good to put some faces and names to forum IDs, and to discover a strong correlation between Porsche obsessives and mountain biking :-)

I hope everyone had a safe drive back, especially the 996 GT2 and 997 RS I followed briefly on the M40 south in truly awful conditions. I was glad the 991s electronic safety net made the heady speed of 65mph safely attainable :-s

Great turn out considering weather and admit not getting to chat to many people as we left because we were soaked and cold. Maybe again in a month or two?

Thanks for organising and yes apologies for not saying hello to everyone. Lots of lovely cars...have to say the car that stole it for me was RSVP’s 964 RS....just a beautiful car. Would be great to do it again
