Touring last week with a mate who’s traded from winged 991.2 GT3 to Touring.
Out and about in mine too last week. Cadwell. Fantastic day organised by my local TIPEC region.

Really are superb on track, although lots to do in a manual around Cadwell.

Great run of almost 300 miles today including 40 or so laps of Donington, catching up with some miscreants from here (notably Taffy66) , no need for fuel with the 90 litre tank.

Positively parsimonious.

Great to see you today JC. Unfortunately for you my very best mate on Pistonheads is Digga who i treated to a burger and fries today at Dony. Normal riff raff only get a sandwich and a bag of crisps.laugh

Ashgood have a nice example in white with buckets, lift & steel brakes, so they do come up for sale occasionally!

Wasn't that same car for sale much cheaper at an OPC a while back ?

Yes, this was up for 175 at Portsmouth. It was SOR there.

Ashgood own it outright now. Lacking deviated stitching is one thing, but plastic dash. Ffs.

If it’s the white Touring I’m thinking of, it’s certainly living up to its name. It’s been in North Yorkshire, where it was sold by DMB, then someone in the SW had it for sale privately. Then ended up on the South Coast at OPC Portsmouth, and now in the Home Counties.

Scotland next surely, or maybe Wales?

I know DMB had it up for £159,991 if I remember correctly, and was for sale for a while back in 2019, with about 6k on the clock. How times change.

With so few Touring’s there is no place to hide! Good spot Bork.. yes, looks v similar to the DMB car, was for sale for months at £150,000 ish… poor colour & spec. The car needs a liquid wrap in Oak Green or Meerblau.. would look great.

That white touring was for sale last August when I started to find all the cars in the UK

I think the black wheels on white look terrible.

Its not had a loving owner for 10 months now.

It shouldn't be hard to spice it up a bit, Maybe a wrap, maybe silver wheels and decals as per 911SPY
Houndstooth interior should help as well.

Nothing wrong with black wheels on a white car - its just down to taste. Most white cars look better in the flesh than in photos.

As for wraps and PPF - the world has gone mad! You won't be told about all the pitfalls, until you ask someone to take it off.

Houndstooth

Looks lovely lowndes.

I’ve just sold my white 991 this week with houndstooth interior.
Looked very similar to yours inside.

I’ve an Oak green car coming next month and will probably have the green pepita (houndstooth) inserts put on the seats.

It was a bit like trying to nail jelly to the wall.

The consensus was a Sunday was best for folks, maybe those interested could say which Sunday's over the next couple of months they could do and if we can get one day that suits most we can decide on where afterwards try for June or July?
