Any sellers thinking they will get £5k more in spring are delusional.
Porsches at the top end are dropping drastically. That will filter down.
A 8 year old carrera is not a £60k car. Mental anyone would pay that.
Yes, but you would if you thought it would hold 80 percent of value. Which they won’t anymore. Porsches at the top end are dropping drastically. That will filter down.

I think therein lies the problem. Markets are all about sentiment. If enough people think that prices are going to (or should) fall, they're not going to buy unless they have to, and most people don't have to buy a Porsche. Sellers don't have to sell either, but if you do want to sell, you're going to have to price the thing to sell in the current market. Either buyer sentiment/market conditions have to change or sellers have to adjust their prices.
ETA: it happened the other way round during the last few years, where sellers raised their prices in line with the market and buyer's sentiment, that being that the things they wanted to buy would become more scarce (and so more expensive).
And supply appropriate to their market size. Selling GT's to an investor market that is disappearing will result in a significant oversupply to the market for spirited track and compromised road cars ... 2 x 991.2 GT3s at JZM just sold at strong money.....
Do you know at what price they sold ??The Miami car been up for a time was originally c £148k and overpriced so dropped to AP £142900 same as the current Carmine red car.
Reckon on selling for c £136500.
The Agate OPC GT3 at low £120ks is a great spec.....but but but its 7 owners lol.....understandably killing its value. At £118500 it would be a good buy imo.
It’s not the owners hurting the value it’s the lack of full service history. I tried to buy it. It will sell at that I’d think and we will see prices firm up as we go into feb. Bargain time is now and it won’t last imho as we’re already seeing interest rates falling and those who can run a Porsche aren’t really effected by cost of living etc.

"those who can run a Porsche aren’t really effected by cost of living etc"You've got that very wrong, how do all these new customers they want fund their cars? Are there suddenly lots of more rich people with cash laying around, or were they financed at a low APR with a high GFV.....

Jez, like seriously. Mileage or not and not even warranty on it
After fees, what £60/61k ?
Much much better value on autotrader and the likes.

It’s mileage obsessed market out there
Agreed, porsche GT market seems particularly obsessed with it. I recently sold an immaculate 29k mile GT4 with full history that drove spectacularly well, and without any rattles/squeaks or issues. Thankfully the first person who drove it and saw it had the sense to buy it, but when I advertised it on the 981 group I specifically mentioned the mileage and asked people not to comment if they weren't actively looking to buy at a sensible price.Of course the odd person immediately did suggesting the mileage would put people off buying.
Thankfully it appears the market correction might stop some of this nonsense and the owners who paid over/premium prices for low mileage cars might regret not actually using theirs as built for. There are now loads of 718s coming through (with price drops) that are basically "as new/unused" and simply now not worth what people paid for them a year or two back.
We might even see more RS models being used properly, who knows!

Gt4 is an odd one in this market.
Great car, but virtually unusable on most British roads for 6 months out of 12. Expensive track toy really.
People thought they could buy one and not lose a penny.
9 months I would say decent use with PS4 tyres. Certainly not with cup2 ! Great car, but virtually unusable on most British roads for 6 months out of 12. Expensive track toy really.
