Ditch silly spoiler for a duckie and could be on to a winner if you want a G.R aero without s/roof
That's not an aero bumper

That's a 986 (non-S) aero bumper!

That spoiler looks odd and those exhaust tips are hideous but assuming the rest is OK looks alright value for a C4

There's an aero 1 and aero 2 bumper. This one I think is the aero 1 and the aero 2 has a smoother look and often called the GT3 bumper.

A guards aero isn’t my thing, but if it’s yours, that looks half decent.

Exhaust tips are just wrong, but fixed for under £100 with a pair of replica big ovals. Otherwise just needs lowering.

Correct

Well spotted

Could these hard back sports seats have been added later. I'm not sure they ship in silver with a red car.

Most definitely.
He also has the console and dash coloured in matching silver. Probably from the same car as the seats (pure guessing).

Either have the rear seats folded, change them for plain leather ones or remove them altogether.

Exhaust tips are cringe worthy but easily fixed.

Front indeed seems to be an early 986 aerokit. Looks somewhat ok to me. Only the most geeky Porsche beards will ever know.

Rear spoiler looks aftermarket. Loose it an favour of a nice ducktail I'd say.

Still looks an ok example for someone.

I think a duck tail is a grand. Has anyone found one cheaper?

Needs the options code stick looking at! I imagine the buyer will be someone not too concerned with the fact it has been modded and not 'factory correct' at the end of the day a non-sunroof G.R 996.1 doesn't come up that often and is ripe for further mods.

Have now dropped the price on mine on here, only one sniff and nothing else, guess priced too high? Just trying to inline with what is for sale in the market

Incidentally, Friends Green Porsche have offered £12.5k for it

yours certainly looks well, the interior colour is probably not the most favoured.

Chuck on a set of ambers and original style (Twist?) wheels might shift it at that price?

Thanks, I believe it would have been specced from new with those lights rather than ambers as it is a 99 model car. Thought about the twists before, but the current style on the car (from a 996.2 I believe) I think look pretty good, even thought about changing to the twists myself in the past, but it is quite muddling finding the right wheels

Looks very clean. I’d just be patient. FYI when I sold mine all the interests came from eBay ad, none through PH ad.

Those wheels are from 997.

So they'd put it up for what, £15k?

Have you got it on 911uk?

That's been my experience too. PH is good but Ebay has better exposure.

Think you can get GRP ones for closer to £600.

Ducktails are too retro for aero cars in my opinion. Much better suited to non aero cars.

I don't think there are many serious buyers about. A few talkers though.

Looks a nice car that. I’m sure you’ll sell it soon.
Seems to tick a lot of boxes to me, but some people may freak out over not having a 3 spoke steering wheel or the original alloys.
I don’t think these are things to worry about on a 30 year old Porsche! Easily changed over time if you want and have no impact on the drive or running costs.

You may also get people offering you 12.6k now you have revealed the trade bid smile!
