Have now dropped the price on mine on here, only one sniff and nothing else, guess priced too high? Just trying to inline with what is for sale in the market

Incidentally, Friends Green Porsche have offered £12.5k for it

It's just down the road for me and now in the top limit of my budget. The only downsides for me are the silver on grey colour scheme.
I have a VW T5 in silver, had a 740i in silver, have a Jag S-Type with grey interior and just want something a bit different, such as blue with black of Savana.

It's a well looked after, nice example though and only down the road from me, as I live in Kennington, Ashford.
I'll have to see if colour is really that important and have a think.

I didn't go looking for silver and it sort of found me. Sometimes I think I'd prefer a different colour and then I pootle round in it and think I dont care what colour it is. I'd say buy a car you will love. If that means it needs to be x colour or y then do that. I love my 996 now even if it is silver.

A guards aero isn’t my thing, but if it’s yours, that looks half decent.

Exhaust tips are just wrong, but fixed for under £100 with a pair of replica big ovals. Otherwise just needs lowering.
The rear end is a bit of a mess.

It's also done a million miles.

84k?

Is that high mileage on a 20 year old car now?

surely you should know the crank will be worn out, oval pistons and leaking like a f%&£ked fridge by the time it hits 100k...

I'd say that's low. But not so low that I'd worry about the fact it had been sat about.

I'm sure I've seen the car on one of the owners groups before. The combination of GR and the silver sports seats is very familiar. If the owner has spent on maintenance in the same way that they've spent on cosmetics then it'll be a good car. Wouldn't be difficult or expensive to find a standard engine cover.

It is... but then I'm not a massive fan of aero cars.d, and then

86k must be well below average for one of these now... mine's on more than double that and still running strong... or it was the last time I drove it at the end of Jan... looking forward to getting a flight back to the UK in the next month, picking it up from my in-laws, and getting it serviced & MOT'd.

Mine's on over 140k now, probably should scrap it biggrin

Oh and ATM, it's a shame you're not closer as I'd probably clean your car for you. It gets my OCD twitching whenever I see a photo of it laugh

The dealer with the GR also has the awesome black aero with neph trim. I adore the crazy colour scheme and would be all over it if I wasn't already in a 996.

I wonder if two is greedy.

Not sure I really get excited enough to spend a couple of grand to make the changes. I could get excited about the duck tail from a weight saving perspective because the boot lid weighs far too much and the moving spoiler adds unnecessary complexity. But still not sure about the massive gaps leaving half my engine open to the elements.

They need to clean the door card as its well stty. Perhaps the Oil reg means the owner was in the oil business.

That just looks so right.

I think RPM want £1600 for a carbon ducktail.

Ditch silly spoiler for a duckie and could be on to a winner if you want a G.R aero without s/roof
Spoiler is 996 GT2 is it not? Just looks wrong because it's on a narrow body car. Not that it looked much better on a GT2...

It is a GT2 spoiler. Think it's actually wider than the derriere of that narrow body car hehe

I don't think it's a genuine GT2 lid/wing based on some of the details.
