I think there will be after market products to by-pass the filter , although may have effects on warranty.
They also do wan tot sell cars to people who will use them not just rich collectors/flippers , and my OPC were a little perturbed when after 3 years they get the car back with 300 miles on it .But as they say money talks
Warranty would be blown if PPF filters were removed. With my GT3 I enquired about removing the cage and was told in no uncertain terms that its removal would invalidate the warranty because the specification of the car would have been altered.
Filters would defo blow warranty and would be easy to substantiate as the contributing factor to a failure. They’d defo try to use the cage as a excuse but would struggle to prove it caused an engine or gearbox failure etc.

However if you leave yourself open to any exclusion I guess that leaves you on the back foot!

And if there are no DPF filters fitted ?.
Some of the comments on this thread. Il-informed, smug, self serving, baseless preaching. The last thing anyone will do will confirm whether they’ve been allocated on a thread like this.
Oooooooooooo

I said something like that and got a battering banghead

I have to say err.... how can how I let you down gently wink

I've more chance of flying to the moon tomorrow at 9.35am with my fellow passenger Donald Trump than you have of obtaining an RS if all you have purchased is one GT car in the last 4/5 years.

Hmm... I think that went well smile

FWIW Hunter66 had an RS allocated in the first batch with no prior recent multiple Porsche buying history..I've said it before, its people like him who should be getting RSs as they're bought to drive regularly on both public roads and Trackdays.
It saddens me when i see 991RSs for sale with only a few hundred miles or less on the odo..Why did these guys want them in the first place unless they were bought for flipping..Its scandalous IMO.
Good on Hunter, I will try to emulate his sucsess, however good fortune does not normally pave my way banghead

Ok, so a call to planning at Zuff today confirms there is still no news on UK cars.

RDE is to blame and IF second batch cars come, they will be right at the back end of the year...However...There is no production planning in place currently for European or C16 chassis.

In other news, UK 992 allocation will massively increase after Jun (MY20) summer shutdown. driving
Yep exactly what I said 10 posts earlier, the news is no news sadly, the wait continues!

Apart of course Brnt Rubber who’s already specking his paint to sample C16 car as we speak, apparently jester

This shows how quickly Porsche can alter things, they are going to re open GT2RS production after it was closed to re build the GT2RS cars lost at sea so it’s cutomers don’t lose out!!!

People are claiming otherwise though, who's correct?
I'd say some of the people who claim to know probably know (at least for their own allocation/numbers at their OPC).

It is like saying there is no public news and therefore no news at all about a McLaren Speedtail/La Ferrari/Monza etc (before they were announced) while key clients had at the time already seen it and been invited to place deposits (and the cars were sold out) - just the general public was not informed yet.
It’s very different with Ferrari at the top end,the allocation process ,a GT3RS allocation won’t be treated like a La Ferrari allocation for sure.

Porsche as a company aren’t bothered who gets the 3RS’s whereas Ferrari are somewhat more interested and involved as to who gets Lafs Monzas etc

I’m pretty convinced the situation is a maybe yes to a 2nd batch but no firm numbers or dates or absolute confirmation as of now making it a 50/50 possibility

No, Mr Phooey is 100% accurate.
£193k is a punchy spec though. Mine ended up sub-£180k
So from your post 15/03 when you are asking about a second batch, you can now confirm that indeed you HAVE spec'd a batch Two car? IF so please show us your Spec, i am not disbelieving you, but merely calling your bluff as the subject of batch Two is volatile as some guys on here clearly are being kept in the dark otherwise
It’s simple enough, cut your name and dealer name off and post a copy of the spec,Simples or maybe NOT so simples!!!

The names we use on here hardly say who you are!

Do you really think all the various people here who definitively have said cars have been available and specced are talking out of their a**e?
Yep thumbup

I do hope Mr Juno, that you get a positive outcome with your dealer, if not on this car, then on future model/s your keen to get hold of, but I won’t be posting any details on an Internet forum.
What is so FECKIN precious that you can’t post the spec?

Not the case Porsche have confirmed to UK OPC’s build numbers and approx dates
So one post you have a build date of October and must have ordered the car as you know you have not gone PTS,so you must even know you’re colour, the next post you say Porsche have confirmed approx build dates to dealers and dealers know how many they are getting, that’s vague compared to you’re previous post!

Can you make your Feckin mind up!

If you’ve ordered and seen the spec sheets etc don’t post your order but can you post current prices specs and option prices???

I tried phoning my OPC yesterday and rather mysteriously there were no sales people available to speak to me.I'll take that as a big fat NO then..Ah well, life goes on and it gives me a great excuse to start spending my money elsewhere.
My plan B from the outset was if i didn't get an RS in the second batch i'll look for a nice Performante or 675LT instead..To those of you who have driven both which is the most fun to drive?..I have already looked at a few Performantes which i can get for just over £190K or the same price as a well specced GT3 RS WP.
Have a 600 LT for sale if interested?
Why are you selling a 600LT already,I’ll go
£165k if it’s a good spec!
