They will fall, even more, they are basically unreliable, less powerful versions of either the 991 GT3 RS or the new 991.2 and less fun than the 997 and to slow anyways (to justify the PDK) for the new batch of competitors or the close future.
If you want a cheap track car, just get one and make sure you have one with warranty and that you push it as much as possible, so you blow the engine off and you can get the updated engine (more reliable).
Total Idiot. Not got a clue. Never owned one. Go away trol

Hahaha, 991GT3 slow.. I really love mine. Jmo, but I think the 991GT3 is the best looking 911. The lines are so clean and unspoilt.

I think the 991 GT3 bottoms at around £100k

Not really, you still have another 5 years you can take the Porsche warranty out.

I would think by that point there will be a suitable aftermarket fix.

What do you mean with the 5 years?

The free extra Porsche warranty on the 991.1 GT3 lasts for 10 years, after that expires you can still renew it for up to a further five years. Therefore you can get a Porsche approved warranty for up to 15 years in total.

Having had a 991.1 GT3, then a 991RS, and now a 991.2 GT3 (all built in very similar CS spec) I can tell you the differences between them all is minimal. Yes the new 4.0 engine has more torque and makes a better noise, the gearchange is faster, and the suspension on the latest car is more compliant, but driven back to back, they'd be hard to separate.

It's impossible to predict which way the prices will go, but surely a 991.1 at £120k appears value against paying overs on a 991.2..?

Thats interesting to know. I put the TPC Racing DSC module on my 991.1 GT3 and the suspension is a lot more compliant whilst handling better so perhaps a way of closing the gap even further.

When you consider the sum of the parts
they can’t really be that different , minor for sure, major no! I’ve been waiting 3 years for a new one but certainly can’t see the Blue Boler car being worth 80k more than the car I recently purchased!

Another flipper, 50% for the owner - 50% for the dealer. What a joke...Pure money greed.

With the current economic climate and the way its heading, it won't last long.

On another note how the hell does a car like this end up being flipped so soon? Did the Porsche dealer sell it to a regular who has gone rogue or just have no idea who they were selling it to. Having had a deposit in for a significant period this really pisses me off and others I guess banghead

When .1 RS cars are dropping to similar levels I really don't see 200k in that. Literally 70k waiting to be lost the second it's sold.

I’d take a .1 RS over that anyday and can’t see anyone with more than 2 brain cells buying at that figure !

Yep, maybe a newbie GT3 buyer that doesn't give a monkeys and wants the coin or just a long term P GT buyer that is retiring from the GT brand thus not caring because his OPC will spot it, they would have wanted to sell it on, obviously. Always wonder why the owner has turned their back on their OPC, strange.

If they fell much more they would be 997 GT3 money, I’ve had Porches for 30 years and there’s no way I’d be paying more or even the same for a 997 GT3 versus a 991 GT3

As Mr Harris says it’s a Big step forward from 997, front end and steering sorted , makes a 997 seem ancient!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVdme4ISq8Y&feature=share

I’ll go a slightly different route and say as a comparison a 997 is what it is, an older less advanced car or what you would expect!

Well in that case it's gonna sell quickly as virtually all Premiership football stars will qualify.

I remember being offered a 991RS from a DL in Wales. £249k, seems to recall it was a pro footballer who turned it back to them. Had a little chuckle and said ""No thanks"". That decision was a right decision, big time.
