I'm getting an Aventurine 992 with the Carrera classic rims however a Jet Black one with Aurum wheels will look sensational IMO.

Hi, I would be most grateful if you have any Pics of a 992 with the gold wheel option. I did not notice this when I specked my car up. This is mine Blk, Blk, CCBDs, rws, sun roof, Rs design alloys, etc. Collect over the weekend.

APPOLLO as you know my RS is black and gold and saw one of the launch cars has the 992 Arum wheels and they looked great

Good afternoon. Yes i recall now it looked really good at Silverstone. But i was wondering what the gold wheels looked like on the 992 body.

Apolo you have excellent taste! This is pretty much identical to my spec.

Surprised you are taking delivery this weekend, my OPC had mentioned that although they have cars already delivered they were not allowed to be delivered to customers yet.

If i am honest i think i prefer the looks of the Cab. I would have gone for the Cab, but expected a bit more of a delay before they brought it out. So have also placed order for a May build Cab in Blk. Blk. And me i was not expecting to take delivery until some time next month. But i had a call yesterday to say the SW upgrades had all been done and was ready for collection.

I was also initially intending to get a Cab but my SA thought it could delay it until the end of Summer..My 992S coupe is expected any day now and if i can get a Cab by Summer i'll order it..I love how the new 992 Cab looks even more so than the Coupe..

Same here it was also indicated to me that the Cab was end of the summer, so I locked in a coupe spec very early on, then as soon as its locked they announce the Cab. Lol, so placed a order for a Cab also May build.

I reckon i'm the only person in the country that feels that carbon fibre is getting a bit old and common, so have gone for the new wood trim they've released with the 992.

Can't wait!!! counting down the days now... best wash my 991.2 to hand it in.

Thank you. As I thought they look really good, but they are the Carrera S wheel , I have the RS Spider type ones, if I paint em gold they will just look a mess imv. I am going to put the gold ones on my Cab though.

Yes, I concur re your wheels....they are the perfect colour combo for that design.

I was surprised how much I liked the Carrera S wheel 'in the metal'. The gold really did suit the black car too....looked very special...a bit like Chris Harris's recently departed GT3 touring.

Is that flat Black or the metallic Jet Black out of curiosity. I saw Hunter66's stunning flat Black RS at Oulton and i much preferred it to the metallic version, and i have the Jet black on my Cayenne.

Black Metallic, its just my poor skills behind the Lens that makes it look bad.....Lol
Flat Black does look good on RSs, my 2RS is flat black, but so hard to keep clean, even with PPF on...….

Evening Tony, when do you take delivery? I’m quite taken by this thing and would be very interested to see what you think of it. Reviews are encouraging but not sure if I can cope with the loss of noise. I hear the car is crushingly capable but might lack the theatre, hence I’d like your opinion. Hope all’s well chum.
