How would you spec your 992 GTS?
Discussion
people who have ordered, what have you gone for with PASM?
On my 991.2 GTS the convertible didn't have the option of the additional -10mm GTS suspension, it was just PASM, which has been great, I keep it in comfort on the motorway and then in sport for everywhere else.
On the 992 theres the no cost option of PASM or the GTS specific -10mm with rear helper springs. Does anyone know if this still has the multi options via a button to have a comfort option for motorways? Or is it just fixed in GTS sport mode?
It still calls it GTS-specific PASM, the A standing for active.....
Electronically variable active damping system with three manually selectable modes (‘Comfort’, ‘SPORT’ and ‘SPORT PLUS’)
NOTE: On 911 GTS models, PASM replaces the GTS-specific PASM sports chassis with 10mm lowering and rear helper springs.

I have been considering a 992 GTS and like the look of the Aerokit (not seen in the flesh though). Then i got to thinking after watching alot of Youtube that perhaps a base 992 Carrera would be just as good and potentially 20k+ cheaper.. on the configurator there is no option for Aerokit on the base 992, only the sport design package. My dealer told me I cant have Aerokit on the base model, yet I have seen base 992 Carrera for sale with Aerokit? Can anyone confirm if the Aerokit really isn't an available factory option?
All opinions welcome in the for and against each model, I haven't been able to drive either yet.
Thanks

Amazing until you got to the option of Privacy glass. This being your first Porsche you might want to rethink Privacy. Especially on a black car, Privacy makes the body shape look really weird.
Really? I quite like it.Sy1441 said:

Really? I quite like it.I don't buy the argument of heat reduction, what with A/C installed. Nor, security - who is leaving valuable stuff on display in any car let alone a Porsche - therefore unless you are driving a celebrity or an FBI agent around sat in the back seat - and lets face it, its either small kids or dogs - then whats with the need for privacy glass?
Go for it but personally it looks dreadful in my opinion.
All about opinions. I went back and had a look and tints are defo up my street. Could give or take the 5 racks for the interior but it seems it’s a good option so we’re paying out for some red thread and fancy plastic lol.

I think Privvy looks great, had it on my C2S Coupe below back in early 19 that i used in Spain a lot 100% helps with the heat build up. No need to have the AC on full power with the Privy Glass. Its a must have on a GTS imv, On 992 Turbo S not seen a car without it.Edited by Sy1441 on Saturday 21st August 23:59

Hi guys,
I am planning to order a 992 GTS, and would really appreciate your opinion.
You can see my full config using Porsche Code: PNKKV5T0.
I would appreciate any comments on the config, but mainly, I am torn between two interior trims:
1. Leather interior, Black (stitching Crayon) (KA)
2. Race-Tex interior package with extensive items in leather, seat centres leather (GM)
Which one would you choose and why?
Do you have any photos of the race-tex interior w/leather - especially of the doors and glovebox?
I had to give up on GTS interior trim, as it can't be configured with ventilated seats that are a must for me.
Thanks in advance

Also struggling trying to decide between these two interiors, so will be interested in any replies.
Whichever one of those I end up with I will add racetex roof headlining , sun visors and racetex heated steering wheel.
Whilst I don’t like sitting on racetex I do like it on the steering wheel.
If I go for the full leather with crayon stitching will also add crayon seat belts to liven the interior a bit.
Privacy glass seems to be quite controversial. Really don’t like, as previously stated it ruins the side aspect. IMO is course.
Feel much the same about the glass roof, it breaks up the shape of the car, especially with light coloured cars. Less obvious on dark colours .
