I've made offers on 10 cars this week, all dealers and all at least 25k over list but under their selling price, all have declined .
most cars are already in "negative equity" if they are 2nd owner cars though. bit of an issue esp when some cars are for sale less than people paid atm !

1st owners can make nice money still hence the massive price range.

now the cars 2 years old some one would have to be mental to pay more than 15k over list. and imo that's todays dealer price.

I think this should read as....

The market is dictating the prices smile

Anyone have an opinion where these may end up at Christmas?

As it appears to be the case this comfort average spec 14 plate car has sold privately very quickly at AP £125k this would suggest it was underpriced.
Really?! It suggests to me it was correctly priced. Or at least more correctly priced than the cars that are sitting around for months not selling at higher prices.

Roygarth I agree with your quote, this car sold because the seller had done there home work.

My opinion prices are only gonna go one way, and that's down!! Some people on their 3rd engine, does't really inspire confidence, new RS out, cars coming outta warranty not that long away, also Rs has reduced rev limiter, why, because obviously the engine can't stick it's. No matter how good the car drives there's too many problems too early in the cars life for it to be remembered any other way as a pig in a poke!! So much for apollos prediction of 200k cars not that long away lol, more closer to under 100k cars soon!!!

No idea, but a lot of car for £100k if they go that low, and the 997.2 GT3 cars are already at that level.

No doubt a lot of car for 100k, but at what point does someone want to pay 100k for a car that outta warranty could cost, who knows 30-40k for a replacement engine. Also this car is't in collectors terms low volume and also does't have any racing heritage, unlike its previous older brother who's engine was as hard as nails, the 991gt3, well it's engine appears to be as hard cadburys chocolate buttons.

Hardly a mind-blowing revelation. You think that's not true of most of the other GT3s ??

Wrong - very few people have had 3 engines.
Wrong - most people had 3 or 4 years of warranty.

Wrong again, for reasons explained already on here.

Never driven one, I assume?

Remembered as EVO driver's car of the year 2014 amongst numerous there awards...??

SOME /VERY FEW, well unless you personallly know of all of them, we'll never know who's view is closest, (but at least you've acknowledged its happening!! RIGHT

Hmmm 3 or 4 years of warranty, I suppose if you read what I said "not that long away" 3-4 years when in some cases 2years is already up , it's not that long away! RIGHT

Q. How many cars are already 2 years old? A. Next to none..
Q. What warranty is available on most used cars? A. Rarely more than two years.

Or maybe a direct quote from one of the people involved in the RS...

Based on:

- You've never driven the car.
- You don't know how many cars are on their third engine.
- You aren't aware of why the stroke of the RS was changed.
- Ypu've no idea about engine repair costs.

Seems fairly conclusive!

anyway you're right, you are entitled to post your opinion. Likewise I'm entitled to point out the errors in that opinion!
